A new face in Kimball junction is always appreciated. We came here for dinner at about 6:15pm. It was fairly busy by 6:45. Actually rating is 3.5 stars, but I'll error on the high side. The good: pasta is freshly made in house. The restaurant is nicely decorated. Casual with a slightly upscale and then mixed with kind-of-hip gastropub. Service was attentive - possibly over-attentive (we were checked on to see how things were going before anything that we ordered had been delivered, but that's probably because I was looking around and checking out the restaurant!). Everyone was super friendly and welcoming. What could be improved on: flavors. We both thought the flavors were a little bland and lacked any depth. Don't get me wrong, the food was good, but it definitely wasn't memorable. (We ordered the Rigatoni Bolognese and the Shrimp spaghetti. We also started with the Charcuterie with Creminelli meats and cheeses). Also, the restaurant isn't very comfortable. The benches and chairs seem more geared towards quick service breakfast and brunch.. Not a comfy dinner. I'd say this is a case of 'form over function' - it looks good, but not that comfortable to stay at. I guess it will keep the crowds moving. Prices are a bit on the high side, but it is Park City, but not as pricey as downtown. $65 for our meal before tip. For a restaurant that is geared towards the locals of Jeremy ranch, Pinebrook, Kimball etc, I'd suggest adding a 'locals discount' Will I be back, sure. Not immediately, but I'll give them another try.

We love it here! We've only come for brunch, but you can order pretty much anything and it's delightful. I was disappointed that we didn't come early enough to get the Mussels Spaghetti, because they'd run out, because it is so so SOOO good! Perfectly steamed mussels and fresh pasta in a briny sauce-- it is delightful! My backup was the Smoked Salmon Benedict, and that was excellent as well. There was a good portion of smoked salmon, so beware that it's a little on the salty side because they add a fair amount on their grill toasted baguette slices. And the pickled red onions! Perfect for cutting into the saltiness of the salmon and richness of the sauces. My friend got the vegan breakfast bowl (like overnight oats) and that was so yummy with the figs and apple. We finished it off with a side of their breakfast potatoes with bacon-y aioli and I was happy! It was nuts when we went (weekend brunch), so it took about 5 minutes for someone to stop to seat us. Worth the wait though! The staff were professional and courteous and efficient. Update: Got the Mussels Spaghetti next time I was in. Yummy! My hubby also got the Pimavera Pappardell, which was pretty, but rather bland. There's not much of a sauce-- it's tossed in olive oil and herbs. It needed salt. We wouldn't order this again.

Chef Bartolo is one of the best chefs in Park City and his food is pretty amazing! His wife Rhia is a sweet heart and will give you such a great service! His restaurant is so cozy and you just want to sit there for hours and enjoy! He always comes to talk to the guests, making that Italian cantina vibe! The fettuccini is the best I ever had, he shreds the chicken, and the fresh pasta, to die for! Cod Croquettes are an explosion of flavors in your mouth! I also love the Peach Caprese Salad! He serves breakfast too, but not ordinary breakfast. It’s fusion and delicious, nothing you had before! If you are thinking something like iHop look for somewhere else. This is gourmet international food as its best! Don’t forget to order the brownie cookie! Best cookie I ever had! I’m a fan and I could give 50 stars! Must go in Park City!

I am not usually one to leave a review, it’s just not in my nature. But if something is bad enough, I will do it. My partner and I were celebrating our anniversary and we decided to dine here for a late breakfast. We did the same last year and it was great, to my surprise this last visit was horrendous to say the least. My partner ordered the biscuits and chorizo gravy, a dish he’s ordered before and really enjoyed. His dish was inedible this time around, I guess we should have expected this when the food came out in less than 5 minutes. It’s obvious it was not fresh. The biscuits were burned and black on the bottom and they were solid hard, he couldn’t even cut into them, it was like they were weeks old. We told the server and she brought us another plate in a couple of minutes and they weren’t as black but just as hard, we didn’t want to keep complaining, I felt bad. I got the steak and eggs dish. Probably the most tasteless dish I’ve ever had, and it’s a pretty easy one to do. The potatoes were rock hard as well and almost tasted stale, how do you mess up breakfast potatoes? The steak was so tough I couldn’t cut into it and it was as the most bland thing I have ever had. I am a huge steak lover, this was done so poorly I couldn’t believe it, I left the whole steak on the plate. The server came back and noticed my plate had pretty much not been touched and asked me if it was okay, I tried to explain to her it was poor, but that it wasn’t her fault because I didn’t want to make her feel bad. She said okay, and came back charging me full price for both the horrible dishes, no discount, no apology, nothing. I can’t believe I still tipped, but I used to be a server so I understand how their income works. I am shocked I paid 50+ dollars for such a horrible meal. Given this experience, I will...

Walked into Bartelo’s at 8:50am on a Wednesday at the recommendation of Newpark Hotel staff to get breakfast to go. There was one party of four already seated. Turned out to be the worst recommendation ever! Not because of the food, the food was good; in fact, it was the best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had. It was bad because of the customer service, particularly the lying. I ordered avocado toast ($13), breakfast sandwich with potatoes ($15), and Dutch baby ($10 - when I ordered the Dutch baby the waitress said there would be an 8-10 minute wait, I said that was fine) and was told my total was $48. I questioned Nicole, who took my order, and was told there is tax. I quickly did the math and said, “If tax was 10% it would be about $42.” Nicole looked at her electronic terminal and after a minute of looking found a fee charge of 20%. She said this was something all of Park City charges. I told her I had ordered dinner to go last night across the street and they didn’t charge it. She said, “They must have taken it off, I can take it off if you want.” I told her I would like it off. She said it was a tip on take out for the kitchen staff. It was obvious that it was fees associated with online ordering as she used a handheld electronic terminal (Toast was the name on it) and had to make a phone call to remove the fees. When she took my money she again said that it was the same everywhere in Park City but they can take it off that is why they disclose it to the customer. I didn’t say anything about her not even knowing why my bill was so high let alone disclosing it. She then said my wait would be 15-20 minutes. I asked about the 8-10 minutes before. She said it was now 15-20. Received my food at 9:15, 25 minute wait with me and only one other party in...
