In Park City, TJ Maxx is one of my favorite stores! I love the prices, the selection, the neatness and store layout. Now it's even more beloved because of Tony the Manager! I was shopping at TJ Maxx in Park City and left to go home. When I got home, I was in an absolute panic because I couldn't find my cell phone. I searched all my pockets, my purse, throughout the car, under all the seats, on the floor, etc. NOTHING! I retraced all my steps and determined that I probably left the phone in a shopping cart at TJ Maxx and quickly drove over there. I actually saw Tony with a nametag that said Manager right when I entered the store. I asked him where the Lost and Found was and told him that I was quite sure I had left my cell phone in a shopping cart. He asked me to describe the cell phone. Then I started to get hopeful!!! As soon as I described it, he said that he always checks all the carts and found the cell inside a cart and promptly locked it up in a secure location. He went to retrieve it, and it was mine!!! Think of all the headaches and hassle and time and energy that you waste when you lose a phone!! I was SO grateful!!! I thanked him profusely and asked if I could please give him a reward. He refused to accept anything. So thankful that Tony is the Manager at my favorite store and is diligent, as well as honest!!! I will continue to shop at my favorite store!! A HUGE thank you, Tony, for a...
Read moreI have shopped at TJMaxx frequently (say 20-30 times) and this by far was the WORST experience. I walked out angry and frustrated and have never been treated so badly by the cashier, Tracy and store manager!
I went in today at 12:28 pm to buy and return an item past 30 days and she gave me a hard time saying I could not return this item. I told her I'm aware of the policy and I can return it. She said no. I asked twice to talk to the manager because Tracy refused to ring up the return and after the 3rd time, she finally called up the manager. The store manager came by and that's when Tracy changed her story to say she was giving me store credit. I confronted Tracy about the change in story and the Store Manager brushed it off.
When I checkout, Tracy left all the items on the counter and pushed it to me. She didn't bag them, didn't say a word and just left the items on the counter. She waited while I put each item in the bag (I've never experienced any cashier this rude do this!). I left and told the Store Manager about Tracy and as if the Manager knew about her terrible behavior, she said OK as if it was completely acceptable. WORST EXPERIENCE and I'm astounded by how they treat...
Read moreI really love this store 90% is great experience.... but it is kind of insulting when the employee talks to you like your just a thief. I understand there are people that steal things and to be cautious, but to be talked to like they assume your just there to steal everything is kind of rude. (There are people that are honest) maybe she was just having a bad day ? Also be careful of strangers with your children an old guy was trying to get my teen daughter to go in the bathroom with him when I went to confront him he took off out of the store watch...
