Angela's Delights Catering — Restaurant in Southaven

This was my first time placing an order from this establishment and it was for Thanksgiving. Placed an order for a 1/3 pan of dressing and a fried turkey breast. After seeing all the good reviews I was so excited for the food to be presented on TG. We were advised that pickup time was between 11am-5pm the day before TG. My husband and I arrived at the location at 12:30pm and was greeted with a sign on the door stating pick up time has been delayed until 2pm. Had no issues as I know how crazy the holidays can be. We came back around 2:30pm and she stated the order still was not ready and to give her an hour or so. We left and again, I did not have an issue. My husband came back around 4:30pm and was only given the turkey breast. When asked where was the dressing, the lady went in the back to check and realized that she gave my dressing away! I was so upset as it was the day before TG and it was too late for me to try to get the ingredients to make my own and prepare for guests to arrive. It was the way the situation was handled that made me give the 2 stars. The constant changes of the pickup times and the lack of empathy given when she realized that she gave away the dressing is what took me overboard. No refund was offered once she realized her mistake. My husband had to request for a refund and she begrudgingly gave back the $30.00. I was so disappointed not only in the missing dressing but because I was so excited to have a small business to support only to receive subpar service. I would give the fried turkey breast...

I wanted dessert and I found this place on Google. I ordered 3 things for my sister and me to try. I believe I talked to the owner. She was really sweet and up from about things. I told her I had weight loss surgery, she helped me pick things that wasn't going to give me diabetes again. Which was wonderful. Our favorite was Cinnamon Bun Cake. Both of use was enjoying this slice of cake. I believe I have a recipe like this. It's not overly sweet which was delicious. Just the right amount of cinnamon to sugar. Our second favorite was the 2 cupcakes. The camamel sauce wasn't sweet or really had much of a flavor to it. Adding it with the icing, really just give it enough sweetness to make it delicious. Our less favorite was the yellow cake with camamel sauce mainly due to the camamel, it was boring tasting. No sweetness to it. The cake was so fluffy and soft. That was amazing. I would like to go back and try their food next time. Overall, very pleased with this place.

Only on Sundays can you get food other than pastries. But, if awesome, delicious, flavorful pastries are what you want, then Angela's is the spot. The key lime cheesecake was great. The banana pudding was wonderful, but a few too many wafers and no whipped cream. They may have had some, I never asked. Overall, the pastries are on point. Service was splendid, and the facility was sterile and very friendly. If anyone wants a high-end expresso machine, they have one for sale. I'm just saying. I will return on my next visit to...
