Whenever I have visited any Jim Neeley's Interstate BBQ location, I have always experienced great food and excellent customer service. Unfortunately, my experience tonight was terrible. I attempted to call to place an order. However, after several attempts, my phone calls remained unanswered. I thought this may be due to it being a Saturday night and they may have been experiencing large numbers of orders or a crowded restaurant. So I decided to go to the restaurant and place an order in the drive-thru. To my surprise, there were only two people inside the restaurant and no one was going through the drive-thru. I figured it was great timing. Well, I was definitely wrong! While in the drive thru line, I experienced an excessive drive thru wait time from 6:15-6:55pm. There was no communication from the food service workers or manager. I eventually had to go into the restaurant and request a full refund. The manager still gave no explanation or apology for the long wait time and no food. These seemed like overwhelmed young men who may have been having a rough evening. In an effort to give constructive feedback, I think it would be beneficial for staff to receive customer service training and support. Also, I think it would be extrememly helpful to your business and customers to hire more staff to help, especially on high traffic days. Read moreMr. Neely, I called your establishment close to 8pm tonight and tried to make a to go order after the young man explained to me what was included in a 12 pack pulled pork combo. He told me that your establishment doesn't take to go orders an hour before closing. He said I would either have to come through the drive thru or come in to place my order. My husband and I left our home and arrived at your establishment at 8:30pm. We drove thru the drive thru first, but no one would assist us. We then parked and my husband attempted to go inside to order. The door was locked. There were at least three young men and a young lady inside who saw him at the door. Instead of assisting him, they started laughing and giving each other high fives! This is not the type of service we expected from your business. We left your establishment and went to your competitor Tops Barbeque and the drive thru was busy and so was the inside. My husband went inside, placed our order and had our food in a matter of minutes. The service was great! We've always loved your barbeque but with service like we received tonight, We Won't Be Back!! We thought you deserved to know how your employees are running your business!

Read moreDecember 2021: Came back for the BBQ spaghetti and the Banana Pudding, but they no longer sell the banana pudding, sock it to me cake was moist and delicious. I miss the pudding tho. It was soooooo good.
March 2021: So I went to the drive-thru and got the BBQ sampler plate with came with BBQ spaghetti coleslaw baked beans two slices of bread and this plate of nothing but meat. When I open the plate it look like I literally went to the Neely's house and went to the backyard and they just started making me a to-go plate which was huge portions. I mean the beef ribs look like they could have been dinosaur bones they were so big lol :-) and that is certainly not a complaint. The the pork was so juicy so tender OMG you just don't get that very often. The beef was delicious, the link was a hot link burned the inside of my mouth up cuz I don't eat hot food... But I ate that hot link. I know I'm going to pay for it later but I ate it was good. I reach for the pork rib and it fell off the bone and I said meat falling off the bone... Ok now...
