I have lived in Southaven for 12 years. Never have been to JJ's, for a couple of reasons. First-the mirrored windows don't let you see what is going on inside. Second-this location never seems to be busy. After my first ever visit today, I think I know why. For starters, when trying to order by telephone, no one would answer, multiple tries. That automatically cut my order down by several people. I work in a room with 5-7 folks at a time. I hoped maybe by just ordering for one person, I could do a walk-in order. This was a simple order-a gyro and a dozen hushpuppies. From the time I place the order to the time I left the restaurant, the cashier didn't say two words to me. I got the order in a timely manner and then returned to work with it. Upon arrival, none of the sauces I previously requested were in the bag. I went back to the restaurant, because of course my time means nothing. I asked for the sauces again (tarter and gyro sauce). the same cashier didn't say a word to me, but went to the back, I'm guessing to ask someone what gyro sauce was. She handed me the tardy sauces, again without saying a word. Nothing. No apology, not a single word. I then said "I'm sorry, too that I had to come back a 2nd time to get my entire order." To this she says "yeah". Seriously.
So, after a 12 year waiting period, and a horrible first experience, I won't be back. The only reason I gave a three star rating was because the food, although pricey for what was received was actually pretty good. Good service + good food = a 5...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis location in Southaven, MS does not deserve any stars. I went to the Stateline Rd location on yesterday at opening time, walked in, and the lady asked me to come back in 5 minutes. I didnāt understand why, I was the only person in the restaurant and they had just opened. So I said okay and went back to my vehicle and waited for more than 5 minutes, and as I was walking to go back to the restaurant door, the rude lady walks very fast to the door to lock it. She saw me walking to come back in, and then turned her back and walked off. I stood there and she pretended not to see me. I didnāt get that as the store opens at 10am. Not only did they loose a customer, I will never going to that location again, nor will I advise anyone else to go. I will refer them to the Horn Lake location where I was greeted with a smile, and my order was prepared promptly. If a business is going to hire people like that lady, they might as well look to go out of business very soon. Great customer service goes a long way these dayās especially if you are in the customer service industry. Itās not rocket science, itās just...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreJj fish in Southaven isn't one of the best places to eat me and my family spent almost forty dollars and the 15 piece of chicken had blood running out of it so when we called back to let them know she said bring it back and get a refund my son had ate two legs and I had two thighs the first thigh was fully cooked but when i bitten the second one that is when I saw the blood so i looked inside of two others they had blood running out of them also but we couldn't get a full refund but when I called they told us if seventy five percent of the chicken was there that we were capable for a full refund but she said it was only 10 pieces not counting the two i had busted open and refused to give me a full refund not the first time but will be the last so good luck if you thinking about eating at jj fish...
