Main Street Donuts — Restaurant in Southaven

I totally forgot to take pictures of our doughnuts before devouring them. My husband told me about this doughnut shop and my goodness, it 1000% lived up to his hype. These are some of the best doughnuts. I had three this morning, the blueberry one, the cream cheese filled one, and the chocolate glazed. My husband had the lemon filled, a blueberry one, and a chocolate cake one. Such high quality ingredients and amazing flavor!! I was blown away. The blueberry one was out favorite, so moist. The filled doughnuts were filled very full and they both tasted amazing. Usually if I eat a lot of sugary doughnuts I'll feel a little sick afterward but I didn't feel bad at all after these!! The woman who was working when we visited was so sweet and kind. I didn't catch her name, but my husband said she was one of the owners!

I wish I could give this place NO STARS! They open at 5am but never seem to have any dounuts at all at 5. Barely have any at 6am. I just left there at 6:07 and they had nothing ready at all. Very highly intensely unprofessional! Every time I go there this is the case. I always end up leaving and going to donalds dounuts (which is further away) but Donald's never ever fails to have which ever I choose. If you open at 5am, get there at 4 and have damn dounuts ready when you actually open. Or even open later if need be. Dont open a dounut store without having dounuts ready. This is the 8th time it's happened and I won't be going back. Maybe Donald's should buy this place out and make it worth going to again. Mr.Donut in Horn lake was closed sadly so i decided to check this place out for a jalapeño kolache. Sad to say I am nothing but disappointed. I was confused after the first 3 bites when I tasted not a morsel of jalapeño or cheese like Mr.donut which happens to be full of both. I paid for two so I took one and broke it down to investigate and I found itty bitty FLAKES of jalapeños that is inside of the sausage and I couldn’t tell honestly if their was cheese. There should be an abundant amount of jalapeños in something that’s the first word in and some heat to go with it. The owner should drive his a** down to Mr. Donut and see what a jalapeño kolache...
