L George's Coney Island — Restaurant in Southfield

Food and service is usually great...but for some reason this night it wasn't...NOT AT ALL!!! My order wasn't made right...asked for my Coney and loose burger and chilli cheese fries with ketchup and mustard...minus the fries....I waited FOREVER...and for as long as I waited...my food should have been exactly as I ordered it. It wasn't. The fries were overcooked and tased crunchy..and there was no condiments on my dog or loose burger. The hot dog wasn't even done. MY FOOD WAS HORRIBLE!!! The girl behind the counter heard me say light chilli....yet I couldn't properly pick up my food... because it was so sloppy. Smh....never again...and your food prices are ridiculously overpriced compared to other restaurants I frequent. This was a terrible experience. Fire that night staff....it was 4:30 am and they sucked!!!

I went a few days ago back to this same location right at the Northwestern HWY Entrance. Just found out that the SO CALLED BEEF Hot Dogs I've been ordering for over a year 1/2 now, are actually...PORK!!!!!! I DO NOT EAT PORK!!!!!!!!! can't have it. They were taking my hot dawgs and dropping them in the frie bin...to dress them up to Look LIKE a Beef hot dog...ALL THIS TIME!!! My girlfriend asked the girl to make sure that my Beef Hotdog was well done so I could experience THE SNAP good dogs have!!! (Ya'll know what I'm talking About lol) Shout Out To AMERICAN CONEY!!!! Downtoowwwn! In My Ice Cube Voice! My Favorite Coney of ALL TIME! So, I will NOT be returning for ANYTHING L'George's Coney has to offer...because for all this time...I was Duped!!!...and THEY New IT! I always wondered why I felt sick in my body after eating it....I thought it was just the chilli. NOW I KNOW!!! It was the PORK!!! YUCK! It's such a shame of the lengths to which some people go, JUST to make a few dollars. You'd RISK someone's heat or Spiritual Beliefs just to sell your NASTY! UNHEALTHY PORK products. Can SOmeone Say...LAWSUIT!!! Any attorneys interested? Let me know if I have a case. Thanks For Reading...

November 20 24/ seventh month. Dollar 35 for a One sauce not a steak sauce but A1 sauce dollar 35 are you kidding seven months ago I gave this five stars but today I was so totally disappointed how they did us to death about all these little #DATA things that it was not an enjoyable experience The service was fantastic. We had a great waitress and the food was not but the places were ridiculous. I mean the hand cross out a four dollar item change it to 499 that didn’t look too good of the menu and the belt that I got it had cheese and onions, but I got nothing else Everything was an à la card and a very high expensive rate five dollars addition for a fry is a ridiculous price compared to other Coney Island in Michigan so sadly, I am not returning to this establishment seven months ago you can tell by my pictures I’d loved it but for now Not return to get this expense. I hope the other L George’s are not the same if they are goodbye, George, I’m no longer curious to see you Southfield. It is too good to pass up! I would like to mention that the patty of beef on my sandwich with a tiny ball that was squished really thin to cover the slice of bread, which you didn’t thankfully, the two cheeses they put on tap Melton covered up, but when you look at it, it was paperthin and I’m saying that I didn’t take a photograph of it because this was not a patty of beef, but a kind of Cheap skimping way of serving a burger totally disappointed as I’ve said i’m sorry for the two people that gave me hearts because you might want to race them. I couldn’t give it this place of heart...

So I liked coming to this location because it is close to my house and I didn't have to drive all the way to the 6 mile location, I liked that I could see them prepare my food and it's clean. I liked the fact that they wear gloves but not the fact that when the grill cook wears gloves but then touches the rag that has either bleach or cleaning solution on it and then goes and touches the food with the same hands/gloves they just touched the rag with! That's gross, then when you call them out on it, it's a problem. If i'm the customer just say sorry wash your hands, change your gloves and make my food again. It shouldn't be a problem if I'm telling you I want my food prepared with clean gloves. Then here comes one of the female waitresses with the dark hair was not only rude but got defensive saying "well maybe I shouldn't eat there because gloves have more contamination than bare hands" Yea Okay cool, if you say so, so if that's the case why are they wearing gloves then? I don't have a problem spending my money else where, where they take in consideration being sanitary when it comes to preparing food and NOT touching the dish rag with cleaning solution/ bleach in it while preparing food. And judging by the other negative reviews, similar experiences like mine have happened. I'm good on L Georges and I've been patronizing them...
