I am writing to formally report an unacceptable customer service experience I had at your Wendy’s location at 24999 Norristown Highway in Southfield, Michigan.
I placed an order for a Chicken B.L.T. without tomato. When the cashier, whose name I later found out was Laura, responded to my order, I couldn’t clearly hear her, so I politely asked, “Excuse me?” She repeated herself—but this time, she raised her voice and did so in a rude and sarcastic tone.
She then asked what kind of sauce I wanted, and when I responded “barbecue,” she again repeated the question in a condescending manner. Her tone was unprofessional, and her attitude throughout the entire interaction was disrespectful and unnecessary. When she asked for my drink order, she maintained that same rude demeanor, making what should have been a simple transaction uncomfortable and unpleasant.
I calmly asked to speak to the manager and shared that Laura was extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. I made it clear that I intended to report this behavior to both corporate and the appropriate district or regional manager.
It is incredibly frustrating to experience such poor service, especially when I was nothing but polite throughout the exchange. Consumers should not have to tolerate being treated this way—especially when we are paying for a service. Poor customer service should never be the standard, and it is unacceptable for any employee to behave this way toward customers.
I hope this issue is addressed accordingly. I would not recommend this location to others based on this...
Read moreI had ordered the 4 for 4 meal deal through an online order, and when I got to this location, someone mumbled through the speaker, roughly translated back into english that they were all out of nuggets and fries. I said that my online order had included this, and asked if they'd either cancelled my order, or would be giving me a refund. They wouldn't give me a straightforward answer through the speaker, so I pulled around. I proceeded to tell them that if they knew they were out of nuggets and fries, that they should've cancelled my order when it came in, or they would have to issue me a refund right then and there at the window. Or, I said, they would have to give me something else that is equal in value to the fries and nuggets, along with whatever else is included in the 4 for 4 meal. This so-called "manager" then proceeded to enact the most cartoonish fit of frustration that I've ever seen, some real Swiper The Fox type shizzzzzz. No one there seemed to know what to do, or have been trained on how to handle a potential situation like this. Didn't know the first thing about delivering good customer service. And yes, the line is really as long as everyone says it is. Could not recommend that you avoid this...
Read moreThis Wendy's was horrible. Every time I try and have faith in them, they show me other wise. If I can post zeros stars I would. Today I went through the drive thru and ordered a meal, with a water. When I received my water, it was completely brown. BROWN. I parked my car and went in, walked right up to the front of the line. I questioned why is was that mybwayer was brown... they told me that they hadn't let the water run long enough.... I waked to the drink despenser in the lobby and tried to get water again..... brown. Even after letting it run myself. As I returned to the counter, the employees were fussing with each other, rolling their eyes and talking loudly and rudely to each other.... if they can't have proper respect for their coworkers, how are they expected to prepare my food and give me good customer service... which they didn't. They then offered me a lemonade. Which was extremely sour, ad if they hadn't prepared it fresh... the lemonade tasted fermented, Iike it had alcohol in it. There's no winning with this place. Lose lose situation every time. This Wendy's is slow, has poorly served food, and bad customer service. This will be my last time spending money at...
