GREAT customer service. Yummy, hot food.

ATMOPSHERE:

DINING AREA: Chill & Clean with Chinese decor that makes it a more pleasurable experience. I did some work before and after eating. It was a great place to go during the day.

RESTROOM: Decent (3/5) Needs improvement (chair, light switch, mirror, floor) but it smelled GREAT in the bathroom which is a big plus for me.

FOOD: Cooked to order! Portions for this meal are definitely enough for 2-3 servings!

Chicken Foo Young - I requested no additions/substitutions Portion: 3 patties, white rice and gravy It was PIPING hot! Just like I like it. It was steaming from beginning of eating one patty to end.

Taste: Patties were simple, well-cooked ingredients, (minimal seasoning, not a complexity of flavors but not bland). The gravy was tasty and added that extra ummph I wanted.

If you're looking for a mix of spices and flavors, this is not the dish to get. BUT if you want savory, we'll salted with nice textures, this is it.

I was told how long it would take (10 minutes) and it took just that!

DRINKS: Soft drink dispenser and refrigerated with bottled beverages (individual and 2 liter)

PREPARATION: VERY thoughtful. For eating in, they provide your food in to go containers with a plate on top. Silverware, napcans and a bag is provided on the side.

CUSTOMER SERVICE: Very nice. I was greeted with a smile immediately after walking in. While eating in the restaurant, I saw how all the customers were greeted well. I was thanked after purchasing a meal (a lot of restaurants don't do that).

The Chinese lady basically didn’t want to use my visa gift card saying it doesn’t work it declined. I had won the gift card from my job two days prior and I had used almost $80 no issues with any other retailer. But she gave me such a hard time. 1st she said there was no money on the card. I called the card and when the automative system start reading off the balance, she start yelling (I don’t know what they are saying I can’t hear it, it doesn’t work) yet she understood my English, she spoke English our entire transaction now all of a sudden she doesn’t speak English. It blew my mind that she was so unprofessional and rude. Then I pulled out cash her jaw dropped, like she was shocked that wasn’t my only form of payment. It wasn’t anything fraudulent about the gift card so I was confused on why she gave me such a hassle. Then to top it off the sweet n sour sauce was GROSS. The chicken was thick and chewy, the rice was sticky it was just awful from the customer service to the food.I won’t be back and I already told my coworkers about this experience little did she know I work for a big company not to far from this place. We all made up our mind that we will no longer do business with this disgusting place. Be careful i don’t know if it was because I am black using a gift card or if she was just having a bad day. No one should work in customer service if they don’t have patiences and you’re judging a booking...

I went to China Gourmet at 4:00 pm I order the sweet an sour chicken with the sauce on the side shrimp fried brown rice three egg rolls an two liston tea's in the bottle. My husband ordered the seme seed chicken with white shrimp fried rice no carrots fountain drink an egg roll. We got to work getting ready to eat. My chiwad hard an old his food the same. Not some of it but all of it . Pluse the egg roll. A lady was there she is the owner. I went back on April 2,2022 I brought the food on Ap1,2022. I told her the problem told her the order .She found it in the system. She telling me that she would give back my $41.14 over the phone when I went back she is trying to make me pay for a whole new meal. I had my receipt. Then she come off saying they don't do that. I told her i will not be back. So they cook to much food for the lunch rush. Then sell the food they had doing up in the day. If you go to this restaurant make sure yoir food is fresh. I ask her an the answer that was given to me on April 1, 2022 that the food just came out. That's a lie they never have to worry about me going to buy any more food from them. They get a bad review from me...
