Good bye Pot Belly. Today’s poor customer service made me realize I spend far too much of my money here. You have my order memorized, yet you could not trust me to come back in to pay the 8 tiny cents that I did not have in my wallet. Thank you for knocking some sense into me, and starting me on my journey to shed the extra pounds I’ve gained by visiting you on a regular basis. From now on, I will come in only to listen to your live music or use the toilet. Update: the owner’s response must have been canned. I didn’t complain about the food. I complained about the customer service. My meal was enjoyable, but the experience was not enjoyable. Potbelly food is great. I love it, and I have the flab to prove it. I was a VERY REGULAR CUSTOMER! But, I will not eat there again, due to insulting customer service. Your North Freeway location is great! Southlake is not. Train your employees to show proper respect to customers. Especially to those who eat there so often that the staff knows your order before it is spoken. Here’s the scenario again: The North Freeway location forgot the mayo on my TKY, and gave me a free sandwich coupon. That was extremely generous for such a small mistake. On the opposite end of the scale, Southlake held my TKY hostage, and made me run out to my car to get the 8 cents I was short. This is after I spend $40-$55 PER WEEK FOR OVER A YEAR! I told the girl I would bring the lousy 8 cents to her in 30 seconds, but she felt the need to snatch my entire bag of food out of my hand and clutch it behind the counter until I paid up. I will not spend another dime at the Southlake Potbelly. Ever. Not even if you give me a free sandwich per week for life. Thanks to her rude behavior, I was made aware of my addiction to your white bread and Diet Coke, and have gone Keto. Jimmy Johns will make your sandwich in a lettuce wrap. Unfortunately, the pathetic lettuce (laced with onion) at Potbelly will not even stay IN a sandwich, much less around a sandwich. So, based on your rude behavior and my new found Keto friend, this is goodbye for good. If I ever want a salad from Potbelly, I will go to another location. See...
Read moreI visited this store during early lunch time on a Saturday. When I arrived, there were only 2 other customers in the storm. I had to repeat my order to three different people. When checking out, I wasn't asked if I wanted a drink or chips. I was just told the total, then asked if I wanted a receipt. After I said no to the receipt, not another word was muttered from the employee. I reached around for a cup for water, as that is all I wanted to drink. The person who cashed me out, took my cash, then went back to preparing food wearing the same gloves. After this, I saw at least 30 people come and go. It took so long to get my food, which was a salad. I won't visit this location again.
Now, the newest menu. Potbelly rebranded the Uptown Salad to the Apple Walnut Salad. No more onions or Potbelly vinaigrette, replaced by a balsamic vinaigrette. I am still disappointed by this change, as the Uptown was one of my favorite...
Read moreI can’t be the vegetarian I know I can be due to the Steakhouse Beef sandwich. This by far is the best sandwich on the menu. I’ve dined in before but I typically order via the app, more on that in a moment.
Their sandwiches are hot and hearty. You can dress it as you like and you’ll never be disappointed in its flavor. I typically load my sandwiches with everything—I do mean everything.
One of the best benefits to this place is their mobile app. You earn points for each purchase. Certain days allow double and triple points with purchase. Those points allow you to redeem free entrees, free cookies, you name it!!
All in all, they have a pretty good selection of sandwiches, sides (other than chips), drinks and cookies. Highly recommend!!
Don’t forget to download the app, you get a...
