Smoothie King — Restaurant in Southlake

I was a regular customer at this location. I went every day for months during the week on my lunch break. Often times they did not have sufficient ingredients to make the smoothies and had to substitute the ingredients last minute. Like I said this happened quite often which got annoying. Because I go to Smoothie King every day, I got a gift card for Mother’s Day from here. The manager at this location couldn’t get my e-gift card to scan one time I went in & lied that the cards balance was expired and reiterated that balances expire over time if they are not used. I contacted the person that gifted me the card- they contacted customer service and was confirmed that it in fact the gift card has a balance. Knowing the gift card actually works, I feel like the manager didn’t want to try to help me use my gift card balance. She had a very annoyed face and I paid out of pocket. Today I tried to submit my order online here as I needed to shop around the area and the app said that I couldn’t place an online pick up during the hours of 6:30AM-4pm. This is by far the WORST Smoothie king I have ever been to! I normally go to either the Alliance or Keller location by unfortunately this location is closest to my work. I would rather drive further than come to this location again. The first time I came it was horrible but I figured it was just a bad experience. However the 2nd and 3rd time prove to be just as bad. Not only is that staff extremely unfriendly. But they do not even know how to make the drinks you are ordering and when you tell them that your drink is not right they reply with a snotty attitude. I would love to speak with a manager at this location but it seems one is never around. I am a regular smoothie king customer but this location is a disgrace. Honestly, the smoothies are great. They taste good, and they have a wide variety of smoothies to fit just about anyone’s preferences. However, it’s becoming increasingly unlikely that I’ll ever return to this location. The service is inconsistent at best and downright atrocious at worst. If they actually open on time, they may not have all of the ingredients necessary to make the smoothie you want. If they don’t, you may not get the friendliest service as a result. I mentioned “if they open” because I’ve been to this location many times (since it’s on my way to work), and I’ve stopped there at least 3 times in the past couple of months during regular business hours only to find that it was not yet open well after its 7:00a opening time.
