Been hoping for a good crepe restaurant in the area for a long time. Sweet Paris looks like it has the potential to fill that void. This is a fast casual restaurant with a pretty wide menu of crepes, both savory and sweet. To me, sweet is easy once you get the crepe recipe right. It is savory that requires a chef’s touch. They get both right. My wife had the Ham & Gruyère and I had the Chicken Enchilada. Both were excellent. Also good size and the soft folded crepe style, not the crisper handheld style that some restaurants offer. Subtle flavors, perfectly cooked, perfect temperature. The savory crepes come with a nice side salad as well. We then ordered an Apple Cinnamon Crème Brûlée to take home for later since we were plenty filled by the meal crepes. Here is where things went wrong. While our savory crepes took about 12 minutes to arrive, which is a good service level for a made to order fast casual restaurant, the sweet crepe took 45 minutes. We had nowhere to go and were having a conversation that could have taken place there as well as anywhere, so we waited it out. Since I knew I was going to do a review, I also wanted to see how long it would take. The manager checked on us about the time we had just ordered the sweet crepe, so all was good. 15 minutes later she checked again and we were getting impatient. I went up twice to just say cancel it once we hit 30 minutes and she twice assured me it was coming out within a minute. Admittedly, we were there on their third day open and they were having a bit of a lunch rush, but still, it was a sign of a system not quite right. The manager explained that to go and eat in orders were getting mixed up in the flow and had everything backed up. I did not personally witness many people waiting for to go, and every table was not full in the restaurant, so that excuse did not hold. When the manager finally did deliver our crepe she gave a simple “sorry about the weight.” Having interacted with us four prior times now, she knew how long it took, so a refund or a coupon for a free crepe on a future visit was in order, but did not happen.

I give the restaurant a 5 for food quality, but need to give an overall 3 rating for now. We will return and if service and speed has improved, I will...

I came in for the second time today and ordered a savory crepe without a couple of items. The cashier (teen, think her name starts with a B) asked if I wanted to substitute other items instead, which surprised me. I asked her for recommendations, and while I wasn’t interested in the choices, she also suggested I double up on included items, so I did that. Everyone, even the teen-looking staff, provided excellent customer service (something I pride myself on in my own business), were professional but friendly, ready to accommodate, etc.

I find the savory crepes a bit too thick (somewhere between an actual crepe and a pancake), but they’re delicious nonetheless, and they come with a side salad (lettuce, cheese, dressing), so that’s nice.

Also, the place is very clean looking, certainly imperative for a restaurant, but not all succeed.

Definitely...

We visited the the location for the first time since we always enjoyed visiting the Houston branch.

Unfortunately food wasn’t the same and way less quality than any of the many Dallas brunch restaurants.

Worst part is few minutes after we finished eating and it started to get a little busy the manager stopped by our table to take out empty plates and 10 min later came again to our table and asked us if we can go sit in the outside area because it’s getting busy. Which is completely unacceptable for a paying customer. It was 2 of us and we spent close to $50 on breakfast and this manager has the audacity to literally kick us out few minutes after we finished eating simply because the store was getting busy.

Will never go to spend money at this place ever again number one for their poor customer service and number 2 poor...

I rarely say this, but based on my one experience, I suspect that this place is overrated. I can speak to the lemon crepe and the Panini caprice. Ordering process was very smooth, service was fast and friendly, and the overall ambience was great. The crêpe was a bit lifeless, no crispy edges, soft all the way through. Tasted fine just needed texture The panini was difficult to eat so I sent it back. Before ordering I confirmed what type of bread was being used for the Panini and was told sourdough- it came with brioche. Sourdough just happens to be my favorite so that was a bit of a let down. I was impressed with the service received by the leader, Raquel. She ensured I was taken care of. I might come back with my wife for some coffee on a nice day where we can sit outside. As for the food, just didn’t do it for me.

My daughters (age 14 & 16) and I checked out this new place and we can’t wait to go back! My girls love crepes so that is of course what we tried at our visit. We ordered the Nutella with Strawberries & Bananas and also the Apple Cinnamon Crème Brûlée crepes. Both were made perfectly, presentation was beautiful and tasted immaculate. Service was friendly and fast and the atmosphere was clean and decorated beautifully. We plan on heading back for brunch so we can try their savory crepes, omelettes and I personally am excited for their frozen mimosa. They also have paninis, salads, soup and a full beverage menu including espresso, tea, soda, beer, hard seltzer and gourmet milkshakes. The outside seating will be perfect for when the weather warms up and the indoor seating has a number of table tops of all sizes.
