⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I don’t usually write reviews, but after my experience with Chris at Taco Bell, I felt compelled to share just how incredible this visit was. From the moment I walked in, Chris was a standout—greeting everyone with a big smile and a genuine, upbeat energy that instantly made the place feel more welcoming. It wasn’t just customer service—it was hospitality. Chris was working the front counter and was incredibly attentive. He made sure to double-check my order, ask about any customizations, and offered great suggestions without being pushy. I went with his recommendation to try the new Cantina Chicken Menu item and it was absolutely on point. You could tell he really knew and cared about the food, which honestly made me enjoy it more. But what really set Chris apart was how he treated everyone in the restaurant. I watched him interact with a few customers ahead of me—families, someone who looked like a first-time visitor, even an elderly man who needed help reading the menu. Chris was kind, patient, and respectful with every single person. That kind of consistency in service is rare these days. Even when the restaurant got a little busy, Chris kept a cool head, helping both the register and coordinating with the kitchen to make sure orders came out right. My food was fresh, hot, and exactly as ordered. If Taco Bell gave out awards for outstanding employees, Chris would be at the top of the list. He turned a simple fast food stop into a genuinely enjoyable experience. I’ll definitely be coming back to this location just because of him. Thank you, Chris, for going above and beyond—you’re a...
Read moreIf you have a large vehicle that can't fit their drive through bar that's lower than the 9 ft hight limit it has posted ; You'll find out the inside restaurant is always closed because of the 3 to 4 drive through operators refuse to run the register for the restaurant. My first time visiting there A nice lady who had already sat down to eat was surprised that the door was locked during lunch hour after she had already came in to order The manager lectured this customer for letting me in the restaurant While they had 6 staff members running the kitchen they almost refused to take my order until I pointed out how wrong they are and then locked the doors again and refused countless construction workers working on the street and delivery drivers and other customers continuing to approach the locked restaurant doors during the afternoon business hours as I was eating I reluctantly came back a few days later during the day and they still had restaurant locked refusing business and was going to attempt the drive through but again the bar posting 9 ft limit was still bent lower than and to low for me to enter unfortunately it's ashame having a craving for Taco Bell when they have private franchise owners who have losers and lazy staff under his watch such as THIS manager as he sabotages this establishment with severe consequences I've been in Taco Bell that only had 2 to 3 people running it and had it flowing smoothly I'm surprised South Lake actually allowes a slumb business to be in operation against...
Read moreThis place has a lot of issues.
We dined in, so we got the full experience of what they have to offer.
Ordering was extremely laborious and the woman was pretty unfriendly. Maybe she was having a bad day, but she just didn't have a great disposition. Others on the staff did not speak English as their first language so the communication issues were across the board.
The KFC food came out first (almost immediately) but the Taco Bell food came ten minutes later.
My son went to order an extra drumstick and they gave him potato wedges instead. I ended up working it out and they gave us the drumstick on the house instead of having to pay for it, which was appreciated (since I didn't request that and insisted to pay for it). This came down to the "English as a second language" issue.
The chicken was overtly greasy. Yes, I know the Colonel is fond of greasy chicken, but this was excessive to the point that I couldn't eat it as the grease permeated every part of the chicken in copious amounts.
The dining area was clean and the parking lot was pristine, but the kitchen looked pretty rough. The floor was really dirty with food and trash scattered in different places.
I believe this comes down to management at the location. The food is what the food is, but the people working there need to step up their game a little bit.
This would be a one star review but them offering the free drumstick was going above and beyond, which I...
