Gourmet to Go & Catered Affairs — Restaurant in Southport

If you're looking for a caterer, stop, you've found them. This was hands down the best experience I've ever had with a caterer. Most of the time they just don't live up to my expectations much less exceed them, Gourmet to Go did!

We had a bachelor/bachelorette weekend in a house at Ocean Isle beach. The bride-to-be wanted a nice sit down dinner for everyone. I called around near the island but stopped when I talked to Gourmet to Go. Their menu's were EXACTLY what we were looking for. So many options and super affordable. PLUS, they would deliver, which was huge because that meant no one had to break away from the group to pick up.

We had the most tender and delicious pork tenderloin with apple chutney, crispy Brussels sprouts that even those who claimed to not like Brussels enjoyed, and killer smashed potatoes. The strawberry salad w/ goat cheese was RAVED over, do not sleep on this salad, it's so good. But the what took the cake....was the cake! Chocolate Ganache Cake to be exact. I was a little worried it would be too much chocolate but it was perfection.

Everyone raved about dinner. GtG made it easy with delivery, instructions and almost no clean up! The team is top notch and communication through out was awesome! If you're any where close to Southport, I highly recommend getting on their calendar! Thank you for a memorable, magical evening,...

Christmas Turkey Dinner This was my first holiday meal from the establishment, I ordered prime rib dinners as well as the turkey. Both meals were packaged well, providing for adequate storage and reheating. The prime rib was cooked well, with appropriate instructions on reheating. I would give the taste a 4 out of 5. On the other hand the turkey was overly processed, accompanied by sides of instant mashed potatoes, bland and undercooked green beans, likely stove top stuffing and the cranberry sauce and gravy were straight from a can. The turkey dinner conjured up memories of meals served at school cafeterias just prior to the Thanksgiving and Christmas breaks, the only thing missing was the sectioned...

November 15th Went in to pick up 6 pack of grab-n-go meals, one ham dinner and ginger seasoned noodles Also put in order for Thanksgiving dinner to go Very convenient to pick up meals.

August 11th Got the prime rib with mashed potatoes and green beans. Grilled the meat to more well done and it tasted the best of all in Southport.

First time here to buy meals to go. Thanks to a gift card from the men's Bible study at Beach Road Baptist Church I came here. Looked at all the selections of main courses, salad, desserts and more.
