An eclectic wonder of a gem, that cannot be duplicated. Too many thoughts to put in words. Miss Ruby, you are an absolute blessing of a sweetheart. Your food is astounding, and your kindness has never wavered over the years. If you’re new to town, or passing through, make sure to stop here for delectable tasty food! I have attached the menu, to browse, and make sure to check out their website. Their food looks as good as it tastes, and tastes as good as it looks! For those of you who are spam lovers, as I am, they make the best spam omelette, and garbage can spam nachos, that you will ever find! A little more about Cafe Koa: The Pacific Rim Covers Western Shores of North America, South America, Shores of Australia, Eastern Asia, & Islands of the Pacific. Café Koa Features Fresh Island Food with Asian Flair, Hawaiian Freshness & a Host of other Cultural Culinary Influences. Their Mission is to Provide a Destination for Delicious Food that Feeds the Mind, Body & Soul in the Happiest Seaside Town in America. They Exist to Create Experiences where Passion & Purpose Come Together. Peace, Love & Food. (Okay, I borrowed that section from their website.)😁 Great, great food, and even greater people! I promise you, you stop here for a meal, and you will be coming back for more! ~ The Spam Man

You definitely want to fix your coffee, because it's extremely watered down. Either purchase coffee that isn't so expensive or raise the price of coffee because the tariffs have caused you to water down the coffee so bad you can see through it. This has become a regular delicious place to have breakfast, and I thought I would update this review to say Kudos Cafe koa! Our server Holly was fantastic. Told us the specials, filled our coffee without fail, and took away the dirty plates so we weren't crammed at a small table with a bunch of dirty plates. Groovy atmosphere very artistic, and very friendly people working there from the hostess to the waitress everybody was smiling and friendly. The pancakes were light and fluffy the Jackie Blue was a delicious dish with everything plus the kitchen sink:-) the only thing I would change is the butter tasting spread, the syrup came in a little glass jar which was nice because you're not wasting the environment on single-use plastic Solo cups, but the little plastic cup of spread could have just been a little glass jar of half filled with real butter for the pancakes. We definitely did not leave there hungry. Come early because there is a wait every weekend for this delicious food and friendly atmosphere.

Oh my gosh - We loved this restaurant!! Of course being so close to the water the vibe is chill, the music is jammin’, the drinks are great, and the food is OUT OF THIS WORLD! I went on Saturday, March 22nd around 11:40am and there was no wait, we were seated pretty quickly, and our waitress was lovely. (I went with two Omni-eaters and it’s always a challenge for me to find a spot that has vegan menu items AND Omni options and this place hit the nail on the head. A master of both Omni dishes and Vegan cuisine!) I ordered from the brunch menu - the “Santana” w/ fried potatoes (you’ll have to ask to sub the Fried Wedge Potatoes instead of the Sun-Up Salad) and let me tell you that was AMAZING!!! - The other two individuals in our little group ordered a “Rocket Man” and she said that was “so freakin’ awesome” … her only comment was she wished it packed a little more spice w/ it having hot honey and all she was expecting more heat. And the other guest order a child’s cheesburger and they gobbled it up but did not like the house made “pickles” - which were cucumbers they started to pickle but definitely tasted like they dipped them in vinegar and called it a day haha I’ll post pics of my meal food and the menus - so please check it out!

We waited in line for 20 minutes before finally getting acknowledged by the staff. Someone finally approached us with a blank piece of paper to take our names down. As we are waiting for a table, groups of diners are leaving, and the staff left these tables sitting empty for 10+ minutes. There were also empty tables outside and a table by a window without guests sitting at them. We still stood in line for nearly half an hour. We were eventually seated. There were 2 menus already available at the table, but the menus didn't have beverage or desert options on them. We had to guess what was available to us. I heard and saw coffee beverages leaving the bar area, but there were no options listed anywhere. We put our orders in, and the food came out quickly, about 15 minutes. So it took twice as long to be seated as it did to actually get our food. The food that I ordered was below average. The burger didn't have much flavor, and it was greasy. My wife enjoyed her salad, but the salad had peanuts on it instead of cashews. It took another 10 minutes to get and pay for our meal. I was hoping I would enjoy this cafe, but the staff was clueless, the food was mediocre, and the menus didn't clearly state the products available to the consumer. There are clearly a lot of missed opportunities for this establishment, if only they had some...

The food at Cafe Koa is very unique as it covers a variety of flavor palettes while still catering to traditional breakfast and lunch classics. It was the food that brought us back to Cafe Koa a few separate times over this past year.

However, the kitchen/management arbitrarily decides when to shift from their “brunch” menu to their lunch menu. We arrived at Cafe Koa at 11:45 a.m., less than two hours after they opened and we assumed that we would be served their brunch menu. Without notifying our party of 6, the kitchen switched menus before we were sat 12:15 p.m. Nowhere on their website can be found an exact time for when this switch occurs, and management insisted on this switch in menus happening due to customer request. This is highly unprofessional to not at least have this fact stated somewhere in their online presence. Management insisted that they “cannot be held to a time” as to when they switch their menus despite this being an extremely common practice at every restaurant that has breakfast and lunch/dinner menus. Management did little to accomodate our request to order from the brunch menu despite not notifying their customers about no longer serving brunch.

Great place for a good breakfast but I highly recommend calling ahead to see how long they feel like serving their brunch...
