Review: A Burger Experience That Redefines Fast Food
Every so often, you stumble across a place that doesn’t just serve food but delivers an experience so profoundly satisfying it redefines your expectations. Today, I found that place—a humble burger joint that has elevated fast food to an art form.
From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and enthusiasm by Zhenya the Host. I was also greeted by Ethan and Claudio, two staff members whose passion for the place was palpable. Their knowledge of the menu, the sourcing of ingredients, and their meticulous care for customer experience set the tone for what was to come.
The kitchen’s secret weapon? Beef tallow. Every single fried item—be it the perfectly golden fries, the crisp chicken tenders, or the decadent hot dogs—is cooked in this traditional, time-honored fat. The result? A symphony of flavor that is rich yet astoundingly clean. Where most fried foods leave you feeling weighed down, here you leave refreshed, satisfied, and utterly delighted. It’s a revelation that fried food can taste indulgent but not indulgent at the expense of your body.
Everything, and I mean everything, is made from scratch. The buns are pillowy and fresh, cradling patties that are ground in-house and cooked to perfection. The organic vegetables are vibrant and crisp, bringing brightness to every bite. Sauces, from the house-made ketchup to the tangy honey mustard, are carefully crafted to complement the dishes rather than overpower them.
The burgers themselves are a triumph. Juicy, flavorful, and balanced, they manage to be indulgent without veering into excess. Each bite feels like it was carefully engineered to delight, with layers of textures and tastes that harmonize beautifully. Even after eating more than I care to admit, I felt invigorated rather than sluggish—a testament to the quality of the ingredients and the skill of the kitchen.
And while the food is undeniably the star, the experience is amplified by the thoughtful service of Ethan, Zhenya, and Claudio. They answered my questions with genuine enthusiasm, offering insights into the process behind the dishes. It’s clear they believe in what they’re serving, and that passion is contagious.
In an industry that often prioritizes convenience over quality, this burger joint is a shining example of what happens when you flip the script—when you put care, integrity, and craft into every detail. It’s not just food; it’s a philosophy, one that I hope more places will embrace.
This isn’t just the best burger and fries I’ve had in years. It’s a reminder that even the simplest of meals can be extraordinary when approached with intention. Also please try the organic tractor Kola, it’s literally your favorite sodas without any of the guilt or harmful chemicals. Do yourself a favor: find this place, order liberally, and prepare to have your expectations blown away.
5/5 stars. I’ll be back soon—and I’ll be bringing...
Read moreI went to B&B with my two kids, we were pretty hungry and I was planning to visit that place for at least half a year. Service - not sure if I can call it a service, but the whole model is a joke. There is not waiters but there is QR code on the table where we order food to the table number (basically like dine-in McDonalds self service). And the most ridiculous thing is that even before I paid for food, I have to give service fee (tip). I am not sure why is it even allowed to charge service fee before getting order on the table. There is not utencils on the tables, aparently there is a station with utencils and some other stuff on a side that no one told us about. Basically, it is dine-in self service overpriced McDonalds (from service perspective) which upcharges you with service fee. Food - we ordered double patty smashburger with lettuce, tallow fries, chicken sandwitch and chicken tenders and lemonade for everyone. a) SmashBurger - burger itself was just ok. I paid extra for lettuce which they fogot, but since there is no server, they don’t care if they forget the ingridient. I was hungry so I noticed it only when it was almost gone. Beef patties were good though I like more seasoning. to me honest, standard smash from Shake Shack has standard tomatoes and lettuce and it tastier than this one, but again, it was just ok. b) crispy chicken sandwitch - could be more juicier, it was pretty thick piece of white dry meat, I think it was a bit overcooked. c) crispy chicken tenders - seems same pieces of chicken as from sandwitch but without sauce - same, too dry, I would say its overcooked and too much panko. d) tallow fries - that was 100% a miss from me. I do cook on tallow at home, but this to my taste is complete failure. May be fries cut is too thin, but it feel like its not cooked using tallow but simply soaked in it and then cooked-dried so its crispy. I expect good fries to be crispy outside and mushy inside, but these are just cirspy with tallow falvor. Overall food was ok, but total check was too much for what we got, though protion size are decent for that money. 3) Atmosphere - understanding B&B positioned as modern self service burger place, with American flag and big horn on the wall and axes as door handles, I was expecting atmosphere of may be some rock or country music, but instead it was playing Eminem the whole time we were there, occasionally interrupted by laughters from the front desk.
Conclusion - food is ok, there are things I would change (fries, and the way chicken served); but service is a complete miss - I will avloid this place from now on unless they chnage the model or quality of service - because they don’t have service, and they still...
Read moreDecided to try this new place after seeing a few posts and reviews. When walking in we had the choice of ordering from a tablet at the counter, ordering at the counter with a person or using a QR code on the back of the menu at our table. Prices are listed on the app but not on the printed menus themselves. For two people we ordered two double cheeseburgers, one was the standard the other was waygu. On the first onions, pickles and onions on the second. We opted to share a large portion of fries with cheese sauce. Ketchup and mustard are available at a station to serve yourself for free. Everything else was an upcharge, including the onions and pickles. The onions were tiny diced up onions similar to the ones found on a McDs burger (not comparing the burgers simply giving an idea of the onions here).
Yes the burgers were tasty, the sauce put on the burgers and the cheese left no need for additional sauces etc on the burgers. The large order of fries was in fact large and enough for both of us to share with some leftover to take home.
The ketchup was off. Not sure what it is sweetened with but it wasn't quite the taste of ketchup. I've made ketchup at home without preservatives or additives so I know it is possible to make and still keep the tomato/ketchup taste. It wasn't for us. We do like to dip our fries in a ketchup/mayo mix. There is no mayo available at this establishment. They offer a side of their special sauce, for an extra charge of course. The fries were tasty as well. We ordered them with cheese sauce and were given a side cup (similar to the ketchup cups) for $4. It was very thick and salty. We do not recommend paying for it.
The biggest disappointment was the price. For two burgers and an order of fries we paid $60. This is not a fine dining establishment. The setup is similar to that of other walk-in not so fast food restaurants (think Five Guys, Jersey Mike's, Fuddruckers, etc) you place your order, get a number for your order and they bring it to your table. The tables were not being cleaned until someone wanted to sit down at them. We also had to bus our own table when finished. Menu prices of a fine dining establishment do not match the service and environment.
Unfortunately we will not be returning for the prices and upcharges. The quality and taste did not justify the outrageous prices. I am disappointed as we do prefer to support local small businesses over large chains, especially those trying to make a difference in the environment with their practices...
