We ordered an ice cream cake on Wednesday to pick up on Saturday (tonight). We showed them a reference picture that was obviously from Pinterest and asked them to simply change the generic name to the name we needed it to be. They took our order (and our fifty dollars) without an issue. An hour after being told they’d call us on the day of the party, we called and it took them several times of saying “what does the cake say?”, and “what’s the name on the order”, and several transfers between employees and who I assume to be managers. They finally tell us that they didn’t, in fact, change the name from Joe to the person it needed to say, but claim they’ll get on fixing it. Not ideal, but okay. We go to pick it up, and while she did her best to fix it, it was not at all what we were expecting. We asked for a thick red stripe with a thin blue stripe next to it, resembling the Coast Guard symbol, as it’s for a friend who just enlisted in the military and was being given as a going away gift. The cake we received had not only been smeared as they tried to fix the name, but had just white frosting with a blue border. Not worth fifty dollars! Fifty dollars for a custom cake that is exactly what you want makes sense. Fifty dollars for a cake I couldve bought for fifteen and written on by myself? Not so much. Reconsider ordering...
Read moreI don't think I've ever experienced such a lack of customer service and a complete disregard of a customer paying $47 and they mess up the entire order, and then after admiting they are wrong- offer no resolution. It's not Uber Easts fault, it's not the delivery drivers fault, it was their fault. I should have read their many one star reviews.... not that they seemed to care how many customers they lose. I'll be sure to go to literally anywhere else before I spend any money there again, they got $47 from me and didn't give any ice cream. Didn't even offer to add my name to a list, and offer me to come back at another time, or any other resolution. Hermano Penguinos in Boiling Springs never messes up, I'll go there from now on! At least I don't have to babysit them to make sure I get...
Read moreHORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I placed an order on Wednesday and spoke with Johnly for an ice cream cake for my Father In Laws birthday party on Saturday. I go and pick up the cake and it took the employees over 20 minutes trying to find the cake. Finally the "assistant manager" told me that one of the employees sold it to another person and apologized and asked if I wanted one of their pre-made ice cream cakes along with a pint of butter pecan ice cream ( originally I placed a customized butter pecan ice cream cake). I had to take some kind of cake since I was the one bringing the birthday cake to the party. I hope I never experience this again and I hope nobody else...
