Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Spartanburg

Ordered 16 piece spicy family meal with 3 sides. Wings were so tough we were unable to do much with them as we were only able to eat part of the wings at the thickest parts. Received overcooked dry NON SPICY chicken. Also ordered signature hot and ghost pepper 6 piece wings. These last two were okay although the ghost pepper wings definitely had no heat. Also tried to order 2 popcorn shrimp but they said it would take an additional 30 minutes to cook. I decided against ordering them because of that. I might also add that this order was placed around 7 pm and came to nearly $80. It also took them half an hour just to fix my order. I have never felt so robbed. My suggestion if you're hungry is to go to Bojangles about 1/2 mile down the road or even Publix deli. You'll get way better chicken and still have money in your wallet and won't feel like you were robbed. Slow as helllllll what a jokeeeee and they are new!!! I saw this place be built and they are already a no for me. I only came here for a doordash and I see why they didn’t want to pick it up themselves. I waited so long doordash said I could unassign without it hurting my percentage .. so I did ✌🏼the manager gave everyone a coupon for a free apple pie upon their next visit even if their order was for a delivery, seems like the amount ordered chicken wise it’s hard for them to keep up the flow of things leaving the restaurant, the order: quantity ratio is wayyyy off. This is why I don’t do doordash anymore most restaurants around here make it not worth it to deliver, time is valuable not just to deliver food but like in general extra money is always nice but times have changed I feel with delivery services making it worth a drivers time when the restaurant can take a significant amount of the time block during peak hours so I’ll stick to being a consumer but definitely not at this establishment lol! I went here last week after spending long days in the hospital with my mother. I ordered a 12 piece all white SPICY MEAL with coleslaw Cajun fries biscuits and an order of honey bbq wings. Couldn’t hear the guy talk to me through the speaker bc all you could hear was 2 girls talking about non work related things through their microphones. Got order straight. Parid then was told to pull up. After 10 minutes girl comes out to tell me they don’t have anymore spicy anywhere in the store. I agreed to receive a substitution. After waiting another 15 minutes I got my food. Got home 40 minutes away only to find chicken only no biscuits no slaw no fries wings so hard couldn’t bite them and not even all white meat! I paid $54 to throw away the partial order I received because it was inedible. So disappointed since Popeyes is the only chicken restaurant I will eat from, and since this is the closest one to me I won’t be eating it...
