I had given this pizza hut a 5 star review 4 years ago. My family and I ordered from here. But this experience:
It takes a LOT for me to leave a negative review but the attitude of whoever was answering the phones tonight was unacceptable. I have never had to deal with someone talking to me the was the woman who answered the phone did tonight. Absolutely rude when explaining they were no longer offering a deal on a 3 topping stuff crust pizza even though it was on the recording. God forbid I order 3 sides of bread sticks instead of ordering it the way she felt was necessary. Even had to go out of her way to stop me and tell me "oh so you want a FAMILY order of breadsticks and another side of breadsticks" as if the way I worded it needed to be corrected. I specifically say I need cheese sauce with all those orders and she also had to make that very difficult. By the time I was done with the order I even thanked her after she was so rude and she HUNG up on me. I tried to call back several times as by this point I wanted to cancel the order and speak to whoever was above her and she continued to hang up on me or put me on hold intentionally as she could see my number on the caller ID ( I know she could see it because she told me at the beginning of the phone call). In all the years I have ordered pizza from this store I had NEVER had an issue like this. The tone and attitude of this woman was absolutely absurd.
I had reached out to corporate and they did contact me. As far as I know nothing ever came from this. They never even offered a single coupon. Instead I felt like corporate tried to use the lack of staff as an excuse for this woman to be nasty over the phone. It is NOT an excuse. If she felt overwhelmed or stressed instead of being nasty, kindly explaining you are slammed or having a rough night would get you so much further than being rude. I am more than understanding but being hateful over the phone is going to pull the opposite ot of me. We are ALL running on short staff. I'm not being nasty with others...
Read moreAbsolutely pathetic! They don't deserve one star. My order came to $50 some dollars. When I got to the car with my carryout order I noticed they shorted me the cheeses sticks. They told me I would have to wait 10 minutes, they never made them. That's when I should have just asked for all my money back. But no.. When I get home.. all my food was cold and soggy exactly the cheese sticks... or pan of bread I should say... there was only a bit of cheese on the very middle and they were so hard. We were supposed to have a 16pc boneless wing.wings.. instead we got a SIX PC. traditional wing. The fries were not edible. The ham sandwich was so hard you could have used it as a weapon. When I called in to let him know that they messed up the order a second time. She said she could just give me a credit on my account. I never want to step foot in that place again let alone order more food from them and waste more money. It's ridiculous! I hadn't been to pizza hut in over a decade and I should have stuck with...
Read moreI placed an order for pickup. I went to pick it up sign my name on the receipt and left. I partially blame myself for what happened because I didn't fill in a total amount or put zero on the tip amount, however whoever was working that night decided to give themselves a tip on my credit card when I looked at my bank account and noticed that the amount that I had then charge was higher than the actual amount it should have been is when I found that basically an employee tried to steal money from me. To make matters worse the the manager when I talk to him said "I don't know what happened." Really? You can't figure out what happened... He also tried to deflect by saying maybe someone else had come in and used my card and I said no that they could check the video camera it was me did not really seemed apologetic see more concerned about trying to have them not to take the blame. I haven't been to a Pizza Hut since then.
