McDonald's America's fast food dinner. The place millions go. Nice facility, kept clean, the workers are friendly, the prices are set so you either take it or leave it. My problem is the food. In old days food was cooked on a grill and served right away. Now they fix the meat and place it in warming trays. Then pull out and I'm guessing Nuke the food to melt cheese? They need to work on timing to get through drive through. When there are two lines if I'm say on outside line. I place my order, then they take customer on inside line. Maybe I just want 1 sandwich, guy in front wants 6. Someone pulls mine first and puts it on the bin. But then I'm crowded out, t u e other car gets to the window first. They fix their meal, meanwhile my food is getting cold. They finally finish the persons order in front, then when I get to window they hand me my order. The fries are cold and so is my sandwich. So if I want to complain I have to go back in the line or go inside and complain. They used to have the first car with large order to pull forward and that seemed to help. They don't appear to do that anymore. So if there's no one in line it should be hot food right? Not here, they will still serve cold food. I've enen ordered special preparations in hopes that that would get m e a fresh sandwich. Nope. They just don't seem to care. Only exception that we have noticed is if the owner appears to be at the restaurant. Then you don't get the cold food. Yeah. But how do you know when that will be? I guess like many Americans if you're willing to gamble with your health eating fast food, then let the buyer beware. It's a nice dream of the old days when Ray Kroc ran McDonald's. Our food was fast and hot and if you had a complaint Ray or the owners cared. Today most of the staff just go through the motions till their shifts are over...
Read moreCheckin time at this particular location was 6/11 @ 9:12 am. Like two cars in the drive through, no dine ins, and no curbside orders but ours. We took or order and waited for curbside for 15 minutes for our order. Having to wait the extra time, I was in the verge of getting late for work so I had to inconveniently get out of the car to go inside for my “curbside order.” I entered to only find two associates chatting with each other with nothing to do. I noticed my order was sitting on the counter. If it was ready, why did no one deliver it out? I had grabbed my order and left. On the way to work, I called in to ask to speak with the store manager only to have her talking back at me and giving me a rude: “I am the store manager.” She didn’t apologize for not delivering my “curbside order.” This store has no coffee options on their app so I noticed her about it. At first she claimed they needed daily cleaning for their machines, then I said it’s been a week since they’ve offered coffee/hot drinks. I confronted her that it take a week to clean their coffee machines? Then she immediately claims that some malfunction/break down too sometimes. So, what is it? Cleaning? Or broke down? She couldn’t answer me and kept denying that she was at fault in any way and just hung up on me. Great training on ur management team here I see. Very bad management here with bad attitude and lazy associates. Makes me wonder what their kitchen looks like and how unsanitary the food is prepped. We are a daily customer too and typically spend an average of 40 a day. If I have to go out of my way, I will definitely never come back to this location ever again. Not until they change the management team. No customer will like slow fast food, rude employees, and a limited choice of items...
Read moreHonestly, I was only brought half of my order. When I called for the lady who brought out my order as she was only steps away from me, she ignored me and continue walking. Due to my fiance having gone to the restroom, I couldn't go to the fountain drinks because I felt as though I shouldn't leave the food unattended. So there I was. Sitting alone in a McDonald's, with a pregnant belly that was unfortunately large enough for me to resemble Shamoo, with a large empty cup when I was thirsty enough to drink water from Mexico.... trying to figure out if leaving for a moment was acceptable. Why? Because these are the things I worry about. I haven't the slightest idea as to why, but nevertheless this was the debacle I found myself in.
Finally my fiance appeared and tried not to laugh at my worry over $5 cheeseburgers, I'm sure. 🙄 He promptly took our receipt and cups and went to the counter considering the lady had also left with out bringing my frappe.
I was told by my fiance (who has worked in food since the age of 15) that every single person who came to the counter while he was up there complained about something. Now, I'm not one to criticize people for the job they choose to have. But it seems to me like working McDonald's can't possibly be that hard. Stressful? Yes. Hard? Bah. Try being pregnant when you have a short torso, a home currently playing hide and seek, and a family who are just as likely to betray you as help you. Cue "it's a hard knock life"
The food was rather delicious,...
