We like Arby's. We like THIS Arby's. Most of the food that we have tried (over many years) is pretty good. The prices are reasonable for what you get (whatever "reasonable" means -- better than most?), ESPECIALLY when they offer "2 for $6." The interior decor, with the minor exception of a few scrapes and scratches on some of the wood, is actually bordering on elegant, somewhat like an old-fashioned pub (no beer here, though). I would dread it if they EVER decided to "upgrade" to a more modern (industrialized) look rather than their current comforting look.
We don't eat out often, but each time we do come here for lunch, the staff/crew are exceptionally helpful and courteous.
Because we like fish, and wish they had fish sandwiches year-round (barring depleting the ocean) instead of just before a religious holiday each year, we'll get them when we can get them. Recently, we tried fish sandwiches at multiple "fast food" locations, and in our opinion (our taste buds say), Arby's was best by far -- best taste, best texture, BEST price. For years, the choice was from a place with a large "golden arch," but I don't eat ANYTHING there these days. I don't care for so much industrialization and automation, or absurdly high prices (for smaller portions?).
ONE BIG TIP if you choose the Arby's fish sandwich: Do NOT get the one with "cheese!" It is not cheese. It is a runny, yellow approximation of cheese (whiz?) and is both tasteless AND super messy. A slice of good old "American" cheese would have been better (that's not cheese, either, but LOOKS like cheese and doesn't run down to...
Read moreStill our favorite Arby's location but had to update my review since the recent menu and price changes. We understand the price increases but you have taken away all the favorites from your 2 for $7 menu. It used to rotate-- but that doesn't seem to be the case any longer....stop trying to push the random "new" items....Arby's fans deserve deals on the good old standards---like the regular roast beef and beef n cheddar....bring them back. Glad to have the Mac n Chz back, but not really happy with the price being raised over a dollar, especially since the portion size has shrunk and instead of the paper container---now it's served in a plastic container with deep ridges in the bottom so you lose a good portion of the sauce and it goes to waste (it costs too much to waste ANY). We love your Mac n Chz but we won't buy it any more---just can't justify the price hike on top of the shrinking portion size---on top of the container that causes me to pay for and then throw away part of my $$$ lunch.
Always excellent service at this location. Friendly, clean and efficient....everyone here goes above and beyond. Hands down the best...
Read moreI had to amend my previous four star review of this particular Arby's. I must give five stars to this Arby's because of something unexpected that happened this evening that impressed me. I was having trouble with a particular payment method that seemed to be experiencing some kind of technical problems. The problems I am almost certain were on my end and not theirs. The cashier tried her best to help and then escalated the matter to a team leader who also tried to assist. Finally the young lady manager was summoned. She simply asked if that was the only payment method I had with me. I said that indeed it was. She told the cashier that she would comp our dinner. I was speechless. I must commend this store on their choice in putting this young lady in charge. She really didn't have to do that but she did. All I could do was say, "Wow!" The least I could do is give them a five star review to say thanks. I rarely give five stars. I wish I could give six.
Oh and the food was excellent.
That manager is a keeper to be sure. She is truly an asset to this store. This will be the Arby's I will always choose...
