Came in and over heard a gal and her family inform the workers that her drink tasted funny, I believe they said, âsour milk.â The guy checked the bottle and stated itâs brand new, he then got his coworker involved who rudely told the family thereâs nothing they can do just because they donât like something. Bickering back and forth with a customer is terrible. They the workers told them they can make them something else but would charge for both things- she said she didnât want anything from them based on how they were acting. Which why would anyone want to pay for both things after the way she handled it. She easily couldâve said, âwe checked the expiration date and everything is in fact good so Iâm sorry you donât like can I get you something different?â No she literally told them itâs not her fault they donât like it and they arenât going to do anything about it! She then gets on the phone with her manager and doesnât inform her of her approach - I heard the manager Tami stated she agreed with this individual and almost walked out- but my wife insisted ice cream! Very unprofessional and the customer had every right to be upset after how she was treated in front of what appeared to be her kids and family. She was very polite on the approach about the drink it wasnât until the worker stated what she did that the lady got upset and said she was unprofessional and handled the situation terribly- arguing with her and then rubbing it in her face that her terrible manager who wasnât even there to witness the situation agreed with her. Totally embarrassing for the company. I will try to avoid for awhile. Please learn proper customer...
Read moreThough I grew up with B&R, love the ice cream and the brand. This specific location has serious training issues.
I one instance I bought a $20 gift card to join the loyalty program (which I am still not clear if it's a thing) and the next time I came back they couldn't figure out how to accept the card (they did eventually figure it out a few visits later).
After 1-2 visits per week for 3 months straight, taking advantage of the 99¢ sundae coupon at the bottom of each receipt (sadly being proud of my streak) the coupon wouldn't scan and therefore was not honored. The poor tweens working had no training to manually enter the coupon that has been the promotion for months. They had no training to make the moment right and keep a patient consistent customer. The only response I got was to take it up with corporate.
I guess I'll avoid the grief and buy the pints from Safeway.
If you want Great Ice cream but have zero expectations for customer experience, and you have cash to make it easy for the gen z'r working the register....you...
Read moreIf I could give negative stars, I would. I WAS a loyal customer to the Baskin Robbins on Monroe bc its close to my work but I will NEVER step foot in there again! I just witnessed the manager screaming, berating, then firing another employee. This was in the LOBBY, of all places! I have wondered why all of these years, there are always new faces , just as someone would learn EXACTLY how I like my order, they would be gone. Then to add "icing" to the "ice cream cake", as I was waiting for my order, I was so embarrassed for the employee being yelled at that i averted my eyes, trying to ignore the insanity and i noticed BLACK MOLD growing on the inside of the place that the ice cream cakes are kept! NOW, this freezer is in the public eye, can you imagine what kind of things are going on behind the scenes. I honestly wanted to just walk out and tell them i no longer wanted my order but was afraid of that Manager woman coming after me next, so I paid and left and into the...
