This place is usually hoppin' every time I come here to grab a treat and get a bit of remote work done. Lots of people come here to chat with friends, do a bit of work, meet with clients, etc. Despite that I've always found a spot for my solo self to sit down.

This is one of my favorite places for matcha, and I typically ask for the maple cardamom matcha. It was a fall special a couple years ago but the baristas have never had a problem making it for me year-round since. So good!

Lately, I've been trying to limit my caffeine intake even further due to pregnancy, so I recently tried their carmelized banana houjicha (good, I still like my go-to matcha better), and their beet latte and holy smokes I HAVE BEEN MISSING OUT ALL THIS TIME! It is so good. A barista recommended ordering it with white chocolate. 10/10. As far as I'm aware, most coffee shops don't have this drink on their menu, so Indaba is a gem for serving this!

My wife and I stopped by Indaba for a late afternoon coffee date after realizing that all the other independent coffee shops closed at 4PM. Indaba is open 6-6, and it was a great place to grab some iced lattes on a summer afternoon. We were able to find parking in the lot out back. Although there were quite a few people there for an open mic, we didn’t have to wait in line to order. The barista was friendly and helpful, advising us on options for making their standard beverages cold, decaf, and non-dairy. We got the Cafe Miel Latte and the Lemon Vanilla Latte, both with oat milk. They were both sweet and delicious, and we enjoyed the unique flavors. Been waiting excitedly for this location to open up! Today I finally got to go and try it while I’m out running errands. The location is beautiful and it seems like a cool spot to stay in and enjoy a drink and food. I was just stopping in quickly to get a butterscotch latte to-go. Right away the service was not friendly and felt like I was annoying the barista’s by being there. No friendly greeting whatsoever. I just stood and waited for my coffee, trying not to be an annoyance. Was given the card reader and given my coffee. Little to no words from the barista. Tipped and thanked them nonetheless, but definitely left a sour taste in my mouth and likely will stick to other locations or other businesses. My coffee wasn’t worth the experience and 8$ price...
