This is my local fine art shop and I like that itâs a little âMom and Popâ style store. Theyâre selection isnât huge like Artists & Craftsman or Blick, but they do a lot with the space they have and offer a great selection of quality brands like Daniel Smith, M. Graham & Co.,Golden,Williamsburg,Liquitex,W&N,Caran Dâache,Cretecolor, Arches, Pentalic, Connoisseur, Fabriano and more.
The staff is always friendly and helpful to me (Craig, Ken, Morgan and Charlie) and the prices for paint match or beat online prices. Their wooden easels are fairly priced and if you buy your Arches watercolor paper in 25 sheet bulk at their annual October sale youâre bound to get a great deal ( I got a free Arches 10 pack of 16x20 sheets CP with purchase). They also offer a decent range of classes from well known, published local artists as well as hosting classes for out-of-town published artists like Joe Kronenberg, Lian Quin Zhen, Stan Miller and Wes Hanson. Stop in and check them out sometime, they will definitely have something you like, and if they donât have it they are usually able to...
Read moreSpokane Art Supply is such a gem near downtown Spokane. The store has a wide selection of supplies for every type of artistâfrom beginners just experimenting to seasoned pros stocking up. I was impressed not just by the variety (paints, brushes, sketchbooks, markers, specialty papers, and more), but also by the quality brands they carry at really fair prices.
What makes this spot stand out is how welcoming it feels. The staff are knowledgeable, kind, and ready to help with suggestions or guidance. You can tell they actually care about art and want to support the local creative community. They also offer art classes, which is such a great way for anyone wanting to learn or grow their skills to plug in.
Whether youâre just starting out, refreshing your supplies, or looking for inspiration, Spokane Art Supply is worth the stop. A creative, affordable, and supportive place that Iâll definitely be...
Read moreIâve come here too purchase art supplies for my college courses for three years now. They have a discount for students which was always really helpful for young artists. I always find what I need and get help when selecting products Iâve never tried. You get quality and affordability here. Iâve even found mediums that I never thought I would be interested in trying. I love supporting local stores and big crafting stores just canât compare with their wide selection of paint products, raw canvas & stretcher bars screen printing, various drawing materials, quality paper, and dozens of sketchbooks in a variety of papers and sizes. The only downside is their website doesnât have a catalog of products, or at least not that I can find. However theyâre always super helpful...
