De Leon's Taco And Bar — Restaurant in Spokane

I have never left a review for anything in my life but the experience I had tonight was just rediculous. The food here has always been great and have always had friendly service. tonight however after being given chips and salsa, menus and water, my boyfriend and I were left alone for 25 minutes without having anyone to help us or ask if we were ready to order or even offered a drink menu. We were sat at the patio with only 3 other tables occupied and being waited on by one waitress who did not bother to even look at us once out of the 10 times she walked in and out of the resturaunt. After about 15 minutes, the bartender asks us to move our table as we were apparently in the way of the fire exit, shouldn't have the table been in the correct spot in the first place? That was the only interaction we got all night from the staff other than given chips and salsa. Later we mentioned to the waitress that we have been waiting for 25 minutes, she asked if the bartender happened to check on us when it should be her responsibility to do so considering she is the waitress. I understand waiting for a resonable amount of time if it is a busy night but there were no more than 6 tables being used including the ones inside. The fact that we were completely ignored and given a wimpy apology was frustrating and we left after having only chips, salsa, and water to "enjoy". This is a long review, but everyone needs to know. Good atmosphere if you like to be neglected, my girlfriend and I went to this location tonight 7/31/24 at 7pm, we walked in to be seated but was not greeted for almost 10 minutes (with plenty of serving staff and open tables) After a server took pity on us they sat us then preceded to wait another 20 minutes until another server said "she would try and find our server", no water or chips an salsa for another 5-10 more minutes for said server to acknowledge us and bring the basic necessities, as you could imagine we had about 25-30 minutes to look over the menu before the server approached us again for our food order. Then she disappeared again for another 20 minutes until I approached her to ask for more water. We witnessed the manager come out several times but never helping the wait staff catch up in any manner. We finally received our food, the tacos+margaritas flight, $32/ per person. The tacos were decent, and the margaritas were basically puree with a small splash of tequila, aka just juice. Our dinner experience took about 2.5 hours for tacos and margaritas starting around 7pm -9pm. This is their newest location, and there is a ton of growing pains. At one point, our server went out to the parking lot to change out of her 4-5in heels. We love De Leon's, but we will never be back to this location. It was that bad. We had a large group (with a reservation made over a week in advance) at this location for a going away dinner at 530pm 8/8/24. We were ignored for the first 10 minutes of standing inside the restaurant, the waved over to a section against the wall and told that we should sit there. No menus were given to us at that time. We proceeded to sit down at the tables we were told to sit at, and they were still dirty with food and crumbs all over them. It was easily another 10-15 minutes before we were given water, chips and menus. After that our server disappeared and only came back after we approached another worker stating that we were ready to order, hopefully before happy hour ended. Our server came back to take our order with a completely horrible attitude like we were making her life hell just by being there. Our drinks sat on the bar counter for almost 20 min before being brought to us and then a few minutes later when the food was ready, the server just threw the plates on the table spilling food into laps. "oppps sorry" was all that was said, and in a VERY snotty attituded. There is way more to the lack of service and the poor attitude that was happening. The manager was spoken to at least twice but nothing was ever done.
