Nothing Bundt Cakes — Restaurant in Spokane

EDIT: They have refunded the money on the cakes, so all is well. Good customer service and even though I had a bad experience honestly the cakes still taste pretty good so I'll be back.

Original review: Hello, I have purchased 3 cakes at the north spokane Nothing Bundt Cakes Location on 1/31/2025, I had purchased them around 5:30PM and had picked up my girlfriend and ate them at 7:15PM. When I started to eat my White Chocolate Raspberry Cake I got half way when I took a bite of a hair. My girlfriend said "Must be mine lol" until I took another bite of the far end in the pictures and then ate MULTIPLE hairs, 3 in total. I don't want to eat the rest of this as it is very unpleasant to find hair in my cake and I am certain it is the cake makers that this hair has fallen from. It does not match my girlfriend and it was a lot baked into the bottom of the cake. I am requesting something to be done to reconcile...

I called a two days before a friend’s birthday to ask if I needed to pre-order a cake. They assured me that I did not as they always had that flavor and size in stock and ready to go. I went in to get it and they were out of the 8” and said it would be 20 mins for them to get one ready. I explained that I had been told on the phone they were always ready and because I planned my time around that could they make an exception and give me the other size for the same price. They said no and there was no solution but to wait. Their excuse was they were still “catching up” from Mother’s Day even though I had called multiple days after that Sunday. I ended up being late getting the cake to the party I was hosting (yes, I could have gone earlier but didn’t because of their assurance over the phone) and the cake was very cold meaning the 20 mins was probably to thaw it out from the freezer. Disappointing...

Went here to pick out a cake for my daughter’s 15th birthday which is today. Daughter asked for a birthday sample since today is her birthday. We were told we needed to sign up on the website, which I did because my daughter is 15 and she doesn’t need to be getting promotion emails from a bakery but I don’t mind getting the emails because we do enjoy Bundt cakes. But since I signed up instead of my daughter she was refused her birthday sample. Which is so petty and silly- we decided to not buy her cake here and took our money elsewhere. Poor customer service as far as I’m concerned. Will be spending my money at a better bakery...
