Worst (or weirdest) customer service I've ever experienced. What happened you guys? I left a review a month ago after stopping by one day while I was up that way (I live in the Valley so not in the area often) to see if they had dill vodka to put in a bloody mary. The old location made me one (server suggestion) a few years back and I was hopeful they'd be able to make one at this location. The server Beau was happy to make one for me as they had 2 bottles of dill vodka on their shelf. It was so good and he was so friendly I left a review and told him I'd be back with my Mom at a later date to have her try it. Came in today for that reason, asked the server if they still had the dill vodka and he told me "no" and that it was only temporary. I was bummed and told him that's why I brought my Mom here to try it since I raved about it to her. He then said he could go check. We waited about 10 minutes and another server came out to the patio where we were sitting with 2 drinks on her tray that appeared to be margaritas of some kind. My Mom and I said to each other "I wonder who those are for" since we were the only ones out on the patio, and the server came up to us and said "2 dill pickle margaritas?" We looked at each other confused since we didn't order any drinks yet and felt as if the first server was mocking us. We then told this server we had only asked if they still carried dill vodka to the other server and that he said he would go check.. Telling her if they did we were then going to order bloody Mary's. She then went back inside and we sat there feeling incredibly uncomfortable by the experience so, we left. We then went to Selkirk pizza & tap house in Wandermere and had exceptional service.

Ugh :( What happened? The service, atmosphere, and food used to be so good at Hops n Drops when it was at its prior location. On our most recent visit, my wife liked her spicy chicken sandwich but noted the very lackluster service. I ordered the fish and fries and the fish were infinitely more breading than actual fish (the fish inside may have barely been 1/4 inch thick in strips of about 2in by 3in - very little) - and the fries were barely above room temperature. The big knock: the service at the prior location was far better. This last visit, we were served by two relatively young female servers and both were terse bordering on rude. When my wife, after a beer, requested a water, the server brought it out and - without even looking at us - slid it across the table jarring some water loose in the process. There was one male server who was pleasant and a female that appeared to be a manager of some sort that was also very courteous - but the two that served our table seemed to really hate their jobs. Finally the facility itself - it is both far smaller than the previous location and far noisier - the atmosphere that many in the non-20-something category enjoyed at the previous location (where you could have a normal conversation) is gone at this new location. Add to all of this the fact that there were at least 5 empty tables (I counted) when we arrived but inexplicably they were making everyone wait - without any explanation whatsoever. When you're standing in a line 5 groups deep and looking at a litany of empty tables - that's irritating. Taken as a whole - we will not...

We were celebrating our granddaughters 16th birthday. She had just had a softball game. The place was packed as we would have imagined and we were seated in a very timely manner. Our first server seemed to be a bit confused. Then another server went to take our drink order. Then said not to worry somebody else would be taking it and rushed away. Water was brought to our table as asked. Staci, our server arrived like a super hero and saved the day! She made our granddaughter feel so special. She brought her bottomless lemonade. We order, we chose the nachos, our granddaughter had the 'Kyle.' Which by the way, is her favorite uncle's name. After eating half of her sandwich she sees that there was about a 10 inch hair in the second half of the sandwich. No worries! Staci comes to save the day! Brought her this sinfully rich chocolate cake and took the sandwich off the bill. As a vegan eater she was a little bummed she didn't get the other half of the sandwich for her lunch tomorrow. She said it was worth eating meat! Lol. We had the nachos. Not a fan of the corn. Whole beans would be a nice option. I'm not much on meat on mine, but my hubs would have liked more meat. It was a very nice visit! The service was awesome and stuff always happens. Everywhere you go. They were very nice about the hair saying that, that stuff doesn't happen there.
