Fantastic ciders, fantastic service, fantastic food. First class place! The only reason I give three stars is to draw the owner's attention to one thing. The lighting! This place makes the same classic amateur mistake of leaving all the lighting on full bright all night so that you feel like you are in a school lunchroom. It completely KILLS the atmosphere that they've worked hard to build. It turns a cool place into an average place, shows off dirt and flaws, and makes the customers 20% less good looking! Also, the kind of lighting needs to be more intimate. At this place it would be super easy to just have low pendant lighting over the couple of couch areas and some of the tables. That would be way classier and more romantic. It would also make the live music stand out visually more. And, if you often have live music, spend $50 AND LIGHT THE BAND. Also, too much bare wall space that would be perfect for classier art (not mounted way too high, which is the other classic amateur small-town mistake) Other than that,...
Read moreWhat can I say? Hard ciders are awesome, and this place has plenty! I've only ever been in on Trivia Nights with Third Degree Entertainment, but the round and final prizes were awesome, and the place was full of happy, friendly, enthusiastic patrons. The food is highly regarded by everyone I've ever seen eat it, and it looks fresh in nearly every sense of the word.
If I remember correctly, all of their ciders on tap (I know there are at least 20) are from the pacific northwest, an there are definitely at least 4 that are their own from right here in Spokane. Presently, I most recommend the basil lemon cider - the primary flavors are subtle and the drink is gentle and eminently refreshing. The huckleberry (both of these are local brews) is a close second.
Tasters, btw, are 3 dollars standard, and I'd recommend planning to go home with a growler, because you're going to want to 😍
Side note - bathrooms are single occupancy non-gendered, and the staff is open and...
Read moreUpdate: I contacted the owner twice with no response. I am not looking for swag or anything, just a correction and better customer service. Ridiculous. How does this take months upon months to handle?!
On 06FEB2024, I purchased a pizza and cheesy bread for my family. I got home and not only had the wrong ingredients, but the house BBQ sauce that they usually use was gone. Instead it was mustard sauce. We ended up throwing the pizza out along with the cheesy bread because the cheesy bread was burnt. I reached out via email regarding my concerns of the quality of food. I received an email from Ashley stating that she will make up for the errors with a gift card. I again reached out to her a week or two later. Still no gift card. Today is 21APR2024. This is poor service. I used to love this place and highly recommend it. I'll make sure to change those...
