Worst place ever! Do not go here! I have never, NEVER had a good experience here. Decided to grab dinner this evening and hadn't been to this Sonic in a long while and couldn't remember why because I like Sonic's food. This trip reminded me. I ordered a burger and asked for added mustard, they threw a packet in the bag instead of just putting it on the sandwich, I ordered a diet drink, they gave me regular which as a diabetic I CAN'T DRINK! I asked for the Route 44 size, they gave me standard 32 oz large but charged me for the larger 44 oz size. I tried to grab a carhops attention and they ignored me! Pushed the button to get the drink fixed, the person on the intercom said "I will make sure you get you drink" TEN MINUTES later, nothing. I drove away and left the wrong drink there. I should have gone in and asked for a full refund. I REPEAT "I like Sonic" I like the food, I like the options, but I will never go back to ANY Sonic again!
I would like to thank the carhop who actually brought me my order, his name was Tanner, (at least that's what the screen said) he was polite, courteous, asked if I needed anything and took a few extra seconds to make sure I didn't need ketchup or something like that and wished me a good night. I've worked in food service and customer service for years. He did a perfect job, but the entire rest of the crew apparently just doesn't care at all! So Thank You Tanner, you did a great job! I wouldn't be this upset, but this is a consistent problem.
I used to go to this location a lot because it is very close to my home, but there were so many constant screw ups, like wrong drinks, wrong sizes, wrong food, just lots of little things. Things that go wrong because people are just being lazy. And whenever I asked for it to be fixed it always took FOREVER! So I stopped going. It has probably been 12-18 months since I last went to this location, if that recently, and their record of incompetence still stands.
I'm not a picky person. I don't care if something is perfect especially in fast food. I just want it to be accurate. I'm leaving this review only because I truly intend to never go to another Sonic again. This location has spoiled my interest in the entire franchise. Read moreDrive thru was slow. Took 10 mins at the window just to pay for the order. Everyone inside was wiping things down, would look at me but no one came to the window. Not even to let me know there would be an additional wait. The food was good and the price is fair.
7/12/20, 830pm. Got a couple of hot dogs. I used to work for Sonic and know that they have a steamer to cook the hot dogs and keep them warm. These look like they were hours old and thrown on the grill to recook them. The skin was hard. It's laziness. I will say I appreciate the carhop for checking in with me to change my shake since they were out of bananas. But the grill cooks have got to do better. It wasn't even busy. What was the hurry? Why couldn't I get fresh food? I paid for it. This is unacceptable, the next time won't be a strongly worded review but a call to corporate. Please fix this.
10/10/21 On multiple occasions my wife has gotten either whole food particles in her ice or bugs. My wife called the site to inform them they had bugs in the ice. She was greeted with a "What's up" when the person claiming to be the manager answered the phone. Also she was informed there was nothing they could do about the bug in their ice except give a refund. I'm not sure why this location continues to be nasty to a point where they wouldn't pass a health inspection, the fact that no one seems to care that the location is nasty, or(given the heighten awareness of pathogens) concerned with getting their customers sick in some manner. Read moreGave one star because I can't leave NONE. I ordered from the app and realized that I had made an error on the condiments on one of the items. I politely asked the team member to make a quick adjustment (I had not checked in to the location yet) before making it. He became argumentative and told he couldn't make any changes to anything done in the app. I provided multiple options only to receive the same "brick wall" response. I then requested a member of management, to which he informed me "I am the manager." I asked if I could cancel the order and send it again, but I had a coupon on it. He told me it would take 3-5 days to get the money back. I was informed the food was already prepared since I had placed the order ahead. I politely asked "wouldn't it be easier to remake on item and only have to tops one than have the ENTIRE order canceled. At this point, the team member became very hostile used very profane and explicit language directed at me specifically.
I called another location and ran the scenario and my request by the on duty supervisor, who said he would definitely have made the request happen. So, I know what I was asking for is absolutely not unreasonable.
This level of hostility should NEVER be present in the workplace especially toward a guest. Be very wary of this location as I have NEVER had such a simple issue escalate to this level of verbal abuse and I would hate for anyone else to EVER have to deal...
