Who can ask for a better spot than this in Spokane? Situated in a prime location overlooking the park with a swanky setup, the Grand Terrace Bar is almost hidden from the guests of The Davenport Grand. Finding it next to the fitness center (ironic) you step out onto a large patio decked out in burnt orange umbrellas and muted grays. Flowers adorn the edge and corners and a glass railings provide ample views. Fire pits line the middle and the bar can be found at the end just inside a set of double doors. Casey, the bartender, was fantastic! Super friendly, happy to offer suggestions for the neighborhood, and he made great drinks on top of it. Whether you are staying at the Davenport or not, I highly recommend checking out this bar.

I had a light dinner and a few drinks here. The bartender, Crystal, is an absolute gem. My old fashioned was perfect. I had a soup (salmon chowder) and the berry salad. Both great. This is a lovely place with just the right atmosphere. Could be date night, a drink after a game or a show, or just a night cap.

We spent two nights at the hotel and ended both of them at the bar/lounge. The service was quick and the waitresses were very attentive. Super yummy drinks and the food was good. The hummus wasn’t our favorite but overall everything was great. There are TVs available to watch any games as well.

Called a week ahead of time to make a reservation for the grand restaurant, got their voicemail and left a message stating that I would like a table at 5:30 on Feb. 29th. I left my contact information asking if they could call me back to confirm. I never received a call back over the week. Then tried stopping by at 5:20 on the 29th to get a table, it was very busy in the bar area and they had lots of open tables on another section but stated that the section was closed......So I went somewhere else for dinner but then got a call at 5:42 asking if I was still coming for the reservation at 5:30. It would have been nice to know that my message was received and I actually had a reservation!

Do you normally not reply to voicemails confirming a reservation is set? And why have a section of empty tables on a Saturday night??? Won't be...

We got there, waited at the sign that said wait to be seated, nothing... then, sat ourselves and were ignored. Some of the people in our party were even staying in the Hotel! We ordered drinks and a little food, then waited and waited. We had paid for everything and were waiting for them to bring us our last drink, already paid, again. Honestly, sat there for 45 minutes or more and we had to ask them twice. They were rum and comes and gin and tonics... shouldn't have taken that long. Oh, and we ordered water that never, ever came too... there was a steady flow of people, but they weren't busy. Sad day. We were late to our next stop... The Grand hotel bar needs to...
