The Star — Restaurant in Spokane

The owner is entitled and is very bothered if you try and order food or use a $100 bill to pay your tab if it's "early in the night." Friends and I spent over $120 on drink (and all tipped on average 25%) and asked if they were serving food, because there was only one other table, so we could potentially order an appetizer platter/maybe more later, and received a huff and an "I guess so," from the owner. For a dive bar, it has a lot going on. Karaoke 7 days a week starting at 9pm. A cpl of good pool tables, $.50/game. A few dart boards. Not a big menu of good stuff to eat but the chicken strips are incredible. I dare say "best chicken strips in town" if you catch em right after they change the fryer oil. Definitely worth popping...
