The chicken lo mein was adequate, had flavor and noodles were cooked to a good texture. Just nothing special about it. The house scallops had a different crunch coating to it with an extreme amount of green onion. Good but not memorable.
I was not prepared for the shell to still be on the shrimp that was seasoned. The shell was not cooked enough to easily chew and break down. Trying to then peel the shrimp was ridiculous since it took so the seasoning off. Should have just sent it back however the next time we saw the server he slapped the check down on the table.

Read moreThis is a rather "classic" China town style seafood place. As long as you understand that, you'll have a good time. If you come here, a couple of tips. Come here for the live seafood (crab, lobster, etc.) that you plan to eat with your hands, and if you're OK with things being spicy. A good litmus test of if you should come here: are you good with tasty prawns with the head and shell on still?
Items you should get to have a good time: XO whole lobster House special whole dungeness crab Salt and pepper prawns/shrimp with head on Ong choy This is the sort of place where they will bring you your live crab to show you, before cooking it for you.
