A Vietnamese Culinary Gem!
If you're searching for an authentic Vietnamese culinary adventure in Las Vegas, look no further than Pho Kim Long! This gem of a restaurant exceeded all my expectations and left me with an unforgettable dining experience.
As soon as I entered, the warm and inviting atmosphere embraced me, transporting me to the streets of Vietnam. The friendly staff welcomed me with genuine smiles and promptly seated me.
The star of the menu, as the name suggests, is their renowned pho. And let me tell you, it's nothing short of perfection! The broth was rich and aromatic, filled with a depth of flavors that only time and dedication can achieve. Every spoonful was a symphony of tastes, making it one of the best bowls of pho I've ever had. I fight to snap the picture because I dug right in. 😩
The rice noodles were cooked to perfection, and the tender slices of beef added a wonderful texture to the dish. The ample selection of fresh herbs and condiments provided the perfect opportunity to customize my pho to my liking.
Beyond the pho, the menu offered an enticing array of Vietnamese specialties. I couldn't resist trying their calamari , which were crispy and bursting with delicious flavor. The shrimp vermicelli bowl/salad was also a highlight, perfectly seasoned shrimp and cooked to juicy perfection.
One aspect that impressed me was the attention to detail and the use of high-quality ingredients in every dish. It's evident that the chefs at Pho Kim Long take pride in their craft and are dedicated to providing an authentic Vietnamese dining experience.
The portions were generous, and the prices were reasonable, making it a fantastic value for the exceptional quality of food.
To top it all off, the restaurant's charming ambiance and attentive service created a welcoming and enjoyable environment for everyone. Several members of the staff have been there 20+ years.
Whether you're a fan of Vietnamese cuisine or simply curious to explore new flavors, Pho Kim Long is a must-visit destination. Prepare your taste buds for a tantalizing journey through the rich and diverse world of Vietnamese food.
I can't wait to return and indulge in more of their delightful offerings! Yes, I...
Read moreI would give no star if there’s an option. I understand that it’s a weekend night and expected that it’s going to be a lot more people than usual and the wait will be a bit longer as well which I have no problem with. However, how they treated the customers and prioritize the order of walk-in is what I don’t recommend this place. I went in with a group of 6 and there is a sign-in sheet that each person need to write their name and number of group down in order (I guess to make the order of line easier), however, when it get busier, the receptionist ignore the list and just place people randomly. We fill out the sheet and even let the receptionist know about our party as well. There were another group after us that waited as well, however, there a different group (8+ people) came in way after us just waiting and blocking the entry and exit door, which they got seated before my group and the one after my group, which is very disrespectful and unfair. I went up to the Manager about it and he cut me up and tell me that, “oh they are with one of the earlier group, which one of the guy called earlier saying that they have 10 people coming in but after they got seat and already half way to their dinner, their friends show up (the group of 8+ that came way way later) and the guy told him that he forgot about his other friends that already there after us two group (which they don’t have a reservation with), the manager decided to seated them even when they came way later and the earlier call reservation was not for them at all. Therefore, I told him that that is unfair to my group and the group after us to waited 1+ hour when he did that. The manager told me that if I’m not happy then I can go. Like he should at least apologize to me and show that he appreciate our wait. My first time in Vegas and I understand how busy it can get but I don’t respect a restaurant that doesn’t go with the rule they set. Never again will I bring my business there. *there are other groups that left because of the...
Read moreFor picking a Vietnamese restaurant out of the blue that was open late this is definitely not a bad option. The food was decent and quick. A little disappointed they didn't have a bahn mi but I did find a decent substitute, even if it wasn't a Vietnamese dish.
Spring rolls: these were decent. They didn't have any carrots to provide some crunchy but the vermicelli and rice wrapping were done right. We ordered with shrimp, no pork, and they came out super fast, so we know they are fresh as they don't advertise just shrimp on the menu.
Vegan pho: The broth was really good! Could've done with smaller bits of carrot, as they are they were a bit too big to eat without looking like a rabbit 🐇. The noodles were cooked well, not over done and soft. The rest of the veggies were as expected, although the bok choy was a little on the small side and cut in quarters rather than each leaf peeled off the main plant. Otherwise it was good.
Drunken noodles with shrimp: I came looking for a bahn mi but they don't have one here, so I ordered this instead. These had a good flavor but there were so many bean sprouts the noodles bite was replaced by a crunchy vegetable texture. I'm generally ok with bean sprouts, but when I ordered drunken noodles I was expecting more noodles than bean sprouts. My only other complaint was that it wasn't quite spicy enough, something I'm used to specifying at a Thai restaurant but wasn't able to here. Fair enough, Vietnamese restaurant serving Thai food, I suppose I get it.
Overall, if you're looking for decent food really fast late at night this is a good option. Wouldn't hesitate...
