Denny's — Restaurant in Spring Valley

The smell of sizzling bacon and freshly brewed coffee could have revived the most weary traveler. The pancakes? Fluffy enough to qualify as a cloud formation. The hash browns? But none of it, not the food, not the atmosphere, not even the company of my amazing friends, could outshine Zendaya. She wasn’t just a server; she was a presence. 3/24/25 Around 2:31 am, I ordered BYO Grand Slam at Uber, at first I was wondering why it was chalky and salty, so I checked my food and the pancakes were raw inside! So I ended up throwing it away.

3/19/25 Around 12:30 am I ordered pancakes and crepes, but got Burgers instead. (Not sure if this was the restaurant or Uber driver’s fault, but it was on what it seems a Denny’s bag) So I ended up ordering another one, but the strawberry sauce for my crepes was missing! And there was barely any fresh strawberries in it!

As a former food service supervisor myself, I don’t like leaving negative comments online bc I know what it feels, but as a customer who buys food at different Denny’s locations at least once a week, (TO-Go, Dine in, Uber) I have to leave a review because I haven’t been satisfied with my past two orders in this specific location.

Don’t get me wrong, most of my orders usually arrives good. The Pancakes are good. Its just unfortunate that my last 2 orders were like this.

Please follow the time and temperature when cooking the pancakes. I would honestly prefer waiting a little longer than getting raw pancakes. I hope this serves a lesson to who is working during graveyard shift and I hope he/ she doesn’t...

The server was friendly, clean and is attentive as he could be as he was the only one there. He definitely need to hire either a cashier or a host or another server. However, this was not my main issue. I ordered a turkey sandwich and instead of fries a house salad. The turkey sandwich had a lot to be desired. It was three little pieces very very thin like thinner than a luncheon meat sandwich of packaged turkey. It was not like a real piece of turkey as the menu suggested Good at all the main thing I thought OK, I can eat my salad. I started into the salad and the lettuce was cut up, but it was all brown. The cucumbers had started to deteriorate, and it just was not edible. The server went told brought me a new salad, which was somewhat better, but this restaurant was really lame Also, I had received online a coupon that if you spent, I think $30 you got $10 off something like that. I tried to present that and was told it was only good if you ordered online so the whole experience...
