This place was recently known as Napal Baji kbq. The vibe, the lights, and the 80s theme along with the mountain selection of meats apps, and soup was awesome when I move to Vegas. You can understand my shock when I saw the logo being replaced with another sign. I visited this establishment to investigate what happen and to also have lunch. What I learned was there was a change of new ownership, and they did a whole makeover. The redesign of the restaurant was horrid, there was nothing new but banners in Japanese but the grills and design of the place were the same as Napal Baji, so it was, in my opinion, a lazy attempt, I do understand the cost of taking the grills out and putting in new tables, etc. But that's the choice of the new owner when you attempt to turn it into a new restaurant. The AYCE meat selection was 5 types of meat and that was on the lowest tier platinum level. Which is lame in my opinion, I believe if you want people to be inclined to get the top-tier level of meats you need to satisfy the bottom level before you can charge top dollar. Disappointed. The amount of meat brought out was very little, yes, portion control is important but for ayce, they should be bringing out 4-5, not 3 thinly sliced brisket. Lame again. The sushi part of the ayce was a disaster I mean the rolls were not even presentable it looked like the rice had too much water and it look mushy. Here is a psychological insight into dining. "People eat with their eyes" The summary of this restaurant, it reeks of laziness and greed due to the fact the restaurant looks the same as the last one with different aesthetics while the menu is the same with some meats taken off, taking shortcuts to maximize profits is not something I am impressed with. I went into this restaurant with clear eyes to a fresh start but it appalled me when nothing changed because I took the new name at face value. The rip-off was so obvious that the new owner doesn't care about giving people a unique experience but rather just to ensure margins are inflated. First and last time I'm dining here, and that's a fact. I would give this place a 1 star, but the staff was very friendly and helpful so I'll hold off on the harsh review. Change the restaurant back to its former glory or...

This place seems to have a lot of potential. For the AYCE option and the quality of food, the price seems fair. Definitely no question about their product. They had a lot of "side orders" that they offered to our table which was nice but probably should ask next time if we would be interested in it instead of just placing it on the table. It made it confusing on whether or not the side dishes were automatically served or was supposed to be asked by us. Luckily, my cousin is into Korean food so it was no problem.

The lady that assisted us was nice. However, the service definitely has room for improvement. The portions served was small. We were a group of six and when we order for our table, they would bring us 4 pcs servings. The single meats were okay since we can cut it up into smaller pieces but with a group like us, small portions and long service was not ideal. We were the first group there and I honestly thought we would be there for an hour (max) but instead spent TWO hours. This was absolutely ridiculous considering we didn't even leave absolutely full. Not to mention the "last call". It came off a little rude cause we were just following up on our order that hasn't arrived for 15+ minutes and the server when we asked her cut us off and said "this is your last call. Tell me everytbing." So i had to control myself and not snap at her. It was the same person that took our order so I was a little irked with the attitude but then after telling her that we were just following up she was surprised that we told her that she took our order 15 mins ago.

I won't say that we won't be back here but we'll probably do a review research to see if their service has improved before coming back.

If you have two hours to waste, then this place is a must try. Definitely try the wagyu ball. That was their...

First off. This is a review of my entire experience of each of the 5 times I’ve eaten here. The food is absolutely incredible. A very nice Korean/ Japanese fusion that has never disappointed. As a matter of fact. It’s the only one I wanted to go to up until my last two visits. The first three times, the service was mid but they were friendly so I didn’t care and made sure to tip very very well. I know all these places pull tips and at least the back of house deserved it! On the fourth trip, it changed. The staff was rude, and you ordered for this dump tablet that was just very inconvenient. Everything was late, it everyone could order or it would time us out. It felt like it was a waste of money to tip a lot so I only gave a moderate one. It’s expensive stuff and it wouldn’t be right to not is how I felt. Well, now it’s completely different. The service was hands down the best it’s been. Good still great. But I won’t be back for the simple fact that they automatically added gratuity this time. Added a $30 tip to my order. Well, I was planning on leaving $50. Because if I spend $210 and drive the place nuts bringing my table food all night I think that’s only right. But not only did you price yourself out of what I wanted to give. But you told me I have to. Which just means I will never see you again....
