Sunright Tea Studio - Chinatown — Restaurant in Spring Valley

We came to Sunright Tea Studio on Christmas Day after playing at Game Nest. Despite the store being busy, the space was wide enough that most people were hanging out in the seating area or outside.

I was surprised that they had a BOGO deal for their coffee drinks since their coffee series wasn't available for online ordering for this specific location.

I decided to try their Coffee Oolong Milk Tea With Less Ice, 75% Sweetness + Califia Farms Oat Milk ($0.50): This is a roasted oolong tea topped with a shot of Bluebird espresso. The espresso was completely overshadowed by the strong roasted oolong flavor. I didn't enjoy this version and ended up making my own at home by mixing it with Lee's Coffee frozen concentrate. Over time, the oolong flavor intensified in the fridge, so I had to use more coffee concentrate to balance it out.

Matcha Oolong Milk Tea With Regular Ice, 100% Sweetness ($5.95) + Califia Farms Oat Milk ($0.50) + Honey Boba ($0.75): This drink was pretty expensive drink after all the modification & add-in which I don't think is worth it. The honey boba was light-colored with a subtle honey coating. While the matcha flavor was present, it was again overshadowed by the roasted oolong tea. Although this was better than the coffee oolong milk tea, we've had much better milk tea elsewhere.

A few weeks before, my cousin got us a fruit tea which I think was the Mango Jasmine Tea. It's meant to be refreshing, but instead, it made my husband and me even thirstier. We ended up drinking a lot of water when we got home.

I honestly don't understand the hype with Sunright Tea Studio. While the LA location is better than the Vegas one, there's nothing particularly special about their drinks despite trying them...

Mood- Fresh tea

There is something about drinking fresh tea that brings me joy. You know what is being put in your body and you can already imagine how it is going to taste. Especially when you have options that mix and match flavors.

Upon entering was quickly greeted. We were told they are still new so training was taking place. You order at the front counter, find seating, and wait for your order to be called.

Opted for the Oreo Brulee and the Strawberry Jasmine FT. Wow. That strawberry Jasmine was so refreshing I should have got 2 to go. All of the flavors paired very well together.

Interior is quite large. There is a large seating bench that follows the wall with a couple of small tables that can be moved should you choose. Music was playing in the background.

Would most def recommend- pricing is typical for MT places now a days. The customer service was very friendly and hospitable. Also you are able to adjust your ice and sweetness levels. That stood out to me.

Now with three Las Vegas locations, plus more than two-dozen in California and outposts in Seattle as well as Texas, it is safe to say Sunright Tea Studio has found an audience for its diverse menu of Bubble Tea, Coffee, Frosties, Matcha and Yakult.

Locally operated since Autumn of 2023, the space at 4545 Spring Mountain Road featuring an expansive footprint and menu, guests are greeted warmly by patient staff happy to describe any drink before finally instructing each be shaken “17 times.”
