Vova Las Vegas — Restaurant in Spring Valley

Honestly, I expected a lot more out of this place, when going online you see the interior and think it’s going to be this cute place. However, I’ll like to start off with the choice of “artistic” style. Though the idea of doodle art in a cafe seems like a good idea on paper, Vovas attempt is up right wrong the walls are completely covered in dirt by the tables, the flooring is submerged to what it looks like a sad attempt to mop and the randomly placed decorations doesn’t help.

Now let’s get into the drinks, I ordered the Galaxy Aide and to be honest comestically it looks decent however the second you take a sip it is this bitter mess in which you need to be ready to throw out. I’ve came here twice hopefully to look forward to change my mind and though I don’t have pictures, I tried as well the hot coco and tell me why the cup that I had gotten it was covered in dust.

Lastly, the workers though i understand family owned business can do whatever they want with there business the manager of this Cafe was unacceptable. She was rude and was talking over the phone while taking care of orders. Additionally, my friend who for context is black was constantly being watched, by this woman and even during our visit I overheard her racist remarks and statements on my friend. We left before things gotten out of hand but by the time it was over I was already furious and angry. No one should need to work for...

This was unfortunate because it seems like a cool place but I think myself and the lady working here are just really different and it made the interaction kind of painful. There's a special, any regular drink and a pastry for 9.99.

I guess because I was given a large drink it didn't qualify. I wasnt asked on a size preference but would have appreciated to know the special before the order. Came out to 14$ and some change. I suppose it's worth it.

Also the pastries in the display are for display only. They are made fresh after you order, which is cool, but again, miscommunication. I had an uber ride waiting for me and admittedly it made me very stressed. I told the lady no worries I'll try it next time, but instead she said she'll be quick.

I wasn't trying to be pushy I just had no idea what was going on. She seemed kind of annoyed but I don't blame her. I had just got done with a long day and wasn't at my best.

So yeah, the food is good, I just had an awkward experience.

Upon entering was greeted with warm customer service. They offer drinks along with edible delights. So we had to get some items to try. We were asked if we had any questions and my only question was " What is a Croiffle" was obliged with croissant/waffle type pastry. So yes I needed that in my life. Dont judge me.

We opted for the brown sugar MT cut with Oat Milk, Strawberry Crunch, and of course a Tiramisu Croiffle. Can I say wow, wasnt prepared with any expectations however didnt expect that in the least. When you order be prepared to wait a bit as it is all made fresh. However def worth the wait.

Interior is several table and chair arrangements. Modern decor and very clean. Staff is wearing masks and gloves to ensure safety during this Covid Era we are in.

Would def recommend - pricing is typical for Milk Tea here in Vegas - I will be back to try more items. I honestly like the fact that they offer milk substitutions. This was music to my ears. Staff is very friendly...
