Subject: Urgent Concerns Regarding Unprofessional Conduct at BWW – September 13, 2024
I am writing to express my serious concerns regarding an incident that occurred on Friday, September 13, 2024, at approximately 8:45 P.M. at the Buffalo Wild Wings location at 7345 S Durango Dr, Las Vegas, NV 89113.
My girlfriend and I were seated at the bar on gaming chairs when an unsettling situation unfolded. Initially, we chose our seats with consideration for the individual already present, ensuring adequate space. However, without any prior interaction or provocation, this individual began aggressively pushing an empty chair into mine, which escalated the situation to a point where both parties were on the verge of physical confrontation.
Despite the absence of any direct engagement or noise from our end, Megan, the bartender present at the time, failed to employ any effective de-escalation tactics. Instead of addressing the aggressive behavior of the individual or attempting to calm the situation, she merely raised her voice and instructed us to move seats. This response was both unhelpful and unprofessional.
To further exacerbate the issue, Joseph, another bartender, observed the altercation without intervening. The situation persisted with the aggressive individual cursing and threatening violence, while the staff appeared indifferent to the escalating conflict. Megan even threatened to involve the manager due to our reluctance to move seats, despite our clear intention to avoid confrontation.
The situation was eventually defused by Manager Darren, who handled it with the professionalism and care that was sorely lacking from Megan and Joseph. It became apparent that the individual involved was a regular customer and seemed to have a familiar relationship with the bartenders, which raises concerns about preferential treatment and lack of accountability.
The behavior exhibited by Megan and Joseph not only failed to resolve the conflict but also demonstrated a troubling disregard for the safety and comfort of other patrons. The fact that a group of bystanders had to offer more support than the staff is indicative of a severe lapse in customer service and crisis management.
I have refrained from leaving reviews in the past, understanding that everyone has off days. However, the failure to address such a critical situation in a family-friendly environment is unacceptable. Immediate training in conflict resolution and appropriate disciplinary measures for Megan and Joseph are warranted to prevent future occurrences of...
Read moreNot holding my tongue anymore. The Buffalo Wild Wings at Warm Springs and Durango, 89178 has been getting worse with food quality, customer service, and poor managers. I have watched this place steadily collapse, and I am embarrassed to call it my neighborhood BDubs. I just waited 50 mins for a burger, wrap, and boneless wings. Not only was it not crowded, but staff didn't seem to care about any customers coming into the restaurant waiting for the front desk to sit them or take their order. The intolerable young man, who refused to give me his name, stayed in the kitchen, laughing and playing for over 10 mins. When I asked to speak to the so-called manager, she excused it away, not even offering an apology. I am utterly disgusted on how the customers were treated. And to make matters worse, the food was cold and disgusting. I would advise anyone thinking of visiting this poorly-run establishment to find another place. They don't care, they are rude, the food is inedible, and you'd be better off making your own food in the time it takes to receive your order. This used to be my favorite spot. As far as I am concerned, they could permanently close it down, and I don't believe anyone would care. I paid good money for the horrible food and service I received. We, the customers, deserve better. This was not the first time I experienced this type of service. But it definitely will be the last time I waste my time and money on such a disaster of an establishment. That manager ... no words can truly describe her unprofessionalism. I guess she is leading by example because the majority of the staff exhibit her behavior. I give it ZERO stars from the manager to the food that was made. ZERO STARS!! And I am not exaggerating. The site won't let me post ZERO stars, and I am reluctant to give it 1 Star. HORRIBLE and it will only get...
Read moreI did an online order for 450pm pick up. I get there at 451pm, give my name and order to the young lady who runs to the back to check on my order, she comes out and tells me it's going to be another 15 minutes. I ask why have the online pick up times available if the food not ready? She says there busy. I get back up after my 15 minute wait and speak to a different employee because the original young lady was on the phone. This young man runs to the back then comes back out with no food, no bag or my order and tells me it's going to be another 15 minutes. I tell the young man, I need to speak to the manager! The youngan asks if everything is OK? I told him I ordered online for 450pm pick up, was told to wait another 15 minutes and now after that your telling me I have to wait another 15 minutes? The young man goes back to double check and comes back with my food. He apologized and I know he had no control but why have online pick up order times if the food can not be ready? I knew I was in trouble when I first walked in and a customer who picked up his order earlier did not get his fries and when that was brought to the employees attention he was told he would have to wait 10 minutes! What is going on in this dump? I was picking up food for my wife cause she loves BWWs but I told her that she needs to find a better place to order her wings from for our NFL parties cause BWW are just to unreliable. Oh 1 more thing, I get home my wife separates her food, eats a single wing and microwaves the rest because she said that her food was not hot! BWWs please figure it out and fix it....
