Ordered food via Grubhub from this location and when my ordered arrived 40 minutes later, part of my order was missing. I called the store to speak with Perla and she knew my order right away and told me she put the orders in the wrong bag and apologized. She offered to give me store credit but I asked her how was her apology and offering the store credits going to feed my daughter tonight.
Even if I report to GrubHub that my order had a missing items, all that’s going to happen is I have to wait a few days to receive a credit. That’s not going to credit me what I paid for delivery, nor is it going to credit me what I paid for a tip. Therefore I am losing out on money and my daughter still doesn’t get to eat and would have to wait an additional 30 to 40 minutes before another food place would be able to deliver. In addition to having to pay another tip and another delivery fee.
Please somebody tell me where that’s OK and acceptable. She made the mistake, she needs to be responsible in making sure that my order gets to me within a reasonable timeframe. Even if Wahoo’s has to pay the delivery fee. It is evident by last night’s action that Wahoo’s does not believe in making it right with its customers. My daughter can’t eat credit for dinner.
I’m not being charged any additional fees because of her in ability to simply put orders in the correct bag. She didn’t go out there and pick the food from the farm, she didn’t go out there and prep the food and make the food, her responsibility was to simply put the food in the bag and that seemed nearly impossible for her. She ruined two different customer orders in one shot and failed to provide any short of answer on fixing it, that didn’t cost the customers any additional money for having to re-order food from another place with another tip and another delivery fee. Great job Wahoos on your training and making things right...
Read moreI used to really enjoy Wahoo"s: I love Baja/coastal food, surf culture, and eating at a casual place. But lately, every time I go to Wahoo's, the food is a little less good, and the atmosphere is a little less fun. I only go there to eat and watch videos of surfing. But it feels more like a PT'S these days, which really takes away from the fun beach ambiance of the restaurant. They don't even show surf TV anymore - maybe because it's Match Madness right now - but every time I go, there's no surf or skateboarding videos playing at all. On this most recent visit, I say in the dining room area where 4 tvs were showing college basketball. It was not a big deal, except the audio playing on the speakers was for a hockey game that was being shown in the bar area only. The food is mediocre and has been on the decline in the last several years. I ordered an Outer Reef burrito with cajun beans & white rice. The beans were BLAND, a very far cry from Cajun flavor. They were plain white beans and the white rice had zero seasoning, not even salt, with several pieces of uncooked rice throughout the burrito. The burrito was very lettuce heavy, and the cubed chicken itself was rubbery in texture. I had to slather it in their house green sauce to give it some flavor. The portions are quite large & satisfying, and maybe a fish protein would have made a better option. But due to the constant issues I have here with mediocre food and generic saloon atmosphere, I believe this will be my final visit to Wahoo's. I've come to prefer the flavor and quality of nearby Sharky's on...
Read moreI was a regular here for awhile and found food and drink specials to be okay. Service, however, was the WORST. I went in on a Sunday night when there was one girl working the bar alone. This server spent nearly two hours straight getting drunk (on the job) and listening to one guy customer flirt with her the entire time. The few times she did come around to check on the other people at the bar she pretty much blew me off any time I tried to talk to her. Once it came time to pay the check, which took her a good 10-15 minutes because she was so out of it, she suddenly had time to hang out and acted like we were best buds. Very fake and rude!
Attempted to address this issue with her and she blew me off again, acting like I was a jerk. Avoided this place for two months then decided to give it another try because I'd heard she was transferred to another store. She ended up being there again and this time didn't serve me at all with only two other people at the bar. When I tried talking to her she started coming up with all these crazy accusations about me that made it clear she was either delusional, on drugs, or both. I've made several attempts at bringing these encounters to management's attention and NEVER received a response. Even went so far as to write the corporate office and get the BBB involved. The people running this place just don't seem to care about customer service or dealing with employees like the one mentioned here. Others have complained about her as well and NOTHING. Take your money...
