The Glam Vibe — Local services in Spring Valley

I'm upset because I'm a regular at this salon. I regularly schedule appointments with specialist B. He does great work- pays attention to detail. Usually I pay $55 for 2 colors plus my nails cut down or $60 for 3 colors plus my nails cut down. Well today I decided to get only 1 color and kept my nails, no cut down. He charges me $55.00. I ask why am I being charged $55 - he says because I usually pay $55. Then I said I received no additional services so he reduces the price to $50. Then I ask how much for a Nail Fill with 1 color? He says $45. I advised I should be charged $45 then. He says no $50 because of the length of my nail - I get the manager involved and told her that he charges to cut my nails previously and today I decided to keep my nails. She states it's extra $5.00 to keep the length to perform the full. I told her he never puts new fill on my length, just the new growth. So again what's the extra $5.00 for? Again she explains it's for the length. She advises if I have gotten my nails cut then the charge would have been $45. I also look through their book of pricing and it doesn't say any of this anywhere. I'm perplexed because every other nail salon never charged me for "keeping my length". Like umm nails grow and I'm being charged an extra $5.00 for keeping my own nails at their natural length????? So I ended up paying $50 today and didn't tip. I mean why tip when your hustling me!!! Now I need to find a new salon!! This is how a regular is treated!!! Seriously!! Because I didn't want all the extras I usually get it seems they will find a way to charge you!

UPDATE: Spoke with Deanna (Owner) - she reached out to me via my Yelp Review. As promised she completed a full set for me. She soaked off my old set and put on a new set and added the ombré effect for me. By far the worst nail experience I've ever had here and I used to be a regular...I went with two other people and two of us were getting full sets and one was just getting a pedicure. We called ahead of time to book an 8 O'clock appointment and we sat inside for an hour before getting started on our nails. I had asked for what I thought was a simple design and my tech told me no! So I had showed her another simple design and she told me no again. I had insisted on wanting the first one and she completely changed my design and didn't even try so I thought I'd make it easier and change it she completely made it seem like an inconvenience. She stated multiple times that she needed to leave and I couldn't get anything to complicated (while taking phone calls during my rushed time with her) My nails are too wide even after I asked her kindly to slim them down some. Meanwhile the gentleman that was supposed to be doing my friends pedicure took a client that came after us and started her first. Nobody in my group is confrontational but we politely asked him why he didn't get started on our friend first and he said that she booked with him so she needed to go first and that was after we had been there for two hours at that point. He took his sweet time with her and was showing her pictures and would stop and hold long conversations with her and didn't even acknowledge us until we were paying and leaving. I paid $95 dollars for nails that I absolutely hate because the employees told me they looked fine. Be mindful when booking here that the designs must be basic and you can't come in expecting...
