My wife was deep into an afternoon of watching K-Dramas so naturally started craving chicken wings. Bonchon had the quickest delivery time so ordered the XL Family Meal and an order of Bulgogi. The XL meal includes 12 wings and 6 drumsticks plus 2 (double-portioned) sides and a choice of rice (white or fried) so I questioned if it would be enough. Nothing worse than not being able to eat to the point of bursting. I ordered through Uber Eats and the biggest shocker was at how crispy the chicken was. My biggest gripe with any delivery service is that things that are meant to be crispy inevitably end up soggy by the time it reaches you. Maybe the chicken is triple-fried? But the chicken itself was very juicy and tender - so excellent! Everything was packaged neatly and with care so 5 stars for this too. We ordered the fried rice which has a mildly sweet flavor to it. Maybe it's intentional to balance out the spiciness of the wings? I liked it but just worth noting. The Bulgogi was tender and seasoned well but I wish the portion was larger. It comes with rice and is priced at $20.64 on Uber Eats; I don't know if this would be enough to stand alone as a meal for an average adult. *I eat a lot and also understand prices of ribeye have been on the rise so this issue could just be a me issue.* All in all, very happy with Bonchon and it's on our rotation list now!

Bonchon is a hidden gem. Right on a busy corner of town, in a nondescript shopping center. This is part of a national chain. A decent sized menu with traditional Korean flavors. I came specifically for the fried chicken. I was right. It was very good. They serve several different types of Korean fried chicken. I chose the traditional plain fried chicken and soy garlic fried chicken. Both were excellent. The pieces were big n plump. The crisp held up even after waiting an hour to try it after getting it home. Even reheating it the next day, it was still fabulous. I got two sides, coleslaw, which was decent regular style coleslaw. The second was edamame, which my granddaughter loved. The interior is still feeling the after effects of covid, and under utilized dining room with sparse decor. It could use a refresh, to help bring in customers to dine in. The staffer was great. Very helpful and had great product knowledge. She is definitely a keeper. Locals, please give this place a try. The food was fabulous as takeout. Its gotta be dynamite in store. I highly recommend this location

Totally empty at Lunch. Should have been a red flag. But I like Bonchon, where I'm from in Philadelphia, it's really good. And very popular. This location had the worst chicken I had ever tried. The soy garlic sauce was trash. It tastes like plastic mixed with cooking oil. The staff were attentive and very fast. I love that. And the two dudes working the front executed their job and were helpful. I'm docking the location for service not because of them, but because they didn't allow extra sauce on the side. You had to get it poured on again. That makes no sense at chicken restaurant. You should always be allowed to get the sauce on the side. The chickenom the inside had absolutely no flavor, like there using steroid loaded chicken that is huge but terrible natural flavor. It didn't taste like chicken. It tastes like it was fake, almost like made in a lab. Bad all around. I paid my tab $35 and tipped the dudes $5 and got out of there as soon as I could.

First I want to say me and my wife have had Bonchon for a lot of times since they first open and we always enjoyed it. Anyways. It’s Thursday, 06/25, around 16:30 and I came to pick up my online order. Some 15 drumsticks, some radish and some coleslaw. The cost is $51, $61 after the tip. The front man is not coming up to greet me. There is one customer eating at a far table where the old entrance used to be and 2 waiting for their order next to the fridge. The young guy is coming out of the kitchen with an order for one of the people waiting, no “Hello man” not nothing. I’m right in front of him, at the counter/bar. He’s going back, after couple of minutes he’s coming back and handing it to me , I thank him and leave. Traffic is crazy, 40 minutes to home. I hand my wife the order, she’s telling me it’s not ours. She’s calling the store telling them I’m coming back. The guy is telling her “Yes, the food (your order) is waiting for you”. My wife is telling them we will need a new, fresh order of drumsticks, we don’t want cold food. After another 35 minutes driving I get there, give them the wrong order and the guy is excusing himself for handing me out the wrong order. I wait 3-4 minutes and he’s giving me the new order. I get home after another 30 minutes and realize the drumsticks are the old ones and have just been deep fried one more time. Instead of being juicy as we have always know them to be, this time they’re stringy and dry. The soy and garlic are not as bad as the Yangnyeom ones we also bought. The radishes and coleslaw are actually good. I called the store asking to speak with a manager, the guy is telling me the manager is not there and he’s the person in charge. We want a full refund. Because of the quality food. Because the guy said to my wife we will be compensated somehow and when home found it was a box of coleslaw. I mean is this satire? Are you being funny? For a $51 order? For a $10 tip? For 2 hours of my time driving? For the gas money I spent? For the fact that we moved out of our countries so we won’t be treated like this? So again, I want a full refund. The fact that we won’t use your business anymore is understood. We are sorry because we had good/amazing food over the years and , at times, it lifted our spirit. We’re just sorry. My Order # was 36227050393894914. The total amount was...

Honest rating. I didnt allow all the issues bother me till the the Server Manee failed the 5th time.

  1. We are a party of 5, she asked for our order of drinks. It was water, water, water, and diet (3 waters and 1 Diet). Once she got the diet order she left. It didn't bother me thinking she will ask when she comes back. She brings 4 waters and a diet and walks away. I said to myself, I'll take a water, I don't need a sprite, no big deal.
  2. When she got our order, she took our menus 1 by 1, and when got to me I said I wanted to order another item. She literally just left. I was ready to tell her what I wanted but she just left without any acknowledgment. Not even saying, do you need a few mimutes or I'll be back for that last order, NOTHING! She walked passed our table 3 times I stopped her to tell her my last item. At this point, I'm still mellow like no bog deal, no one once of frustration.
  3. When our meals came out, my brothers meal was spicey and I asked Manee what was his order, she said spicy chicken, my brother said he wanted regular chicken but no big deal please exchange for tofu. She took the spicy chicken and brought it back in a to go box. Shortly after brought out the tofu.
  4. When I asked for our bill, every item was charged. I took the bill and crossed out the spicy chicken and asked her to fix it.
  5. She wanted to know why and I explained to her that you MIS-HEARD my brother say regular chicken and he wanted to EXCHANGE it for tofu cause he was burning up from the spiciness. She then said, but you ate it. I took the bill back and say, I don't want to pay for the chicken AND the tofu for your error. Plus you made multiple errors and was horrible at the same time but I want to keep it simple and just move along. She asked what do I mean? then I said, ok. Do you know what my drink order was? She said no, I asked her do you know why you don't know? She looked confused and I said, it's because you didn't ask me. Part 2 on...
