Overall: 3.4/5 (dine in)
We came around 4:00 PM on a Sunday and was helped by Trisha (according to the receipt). She was nice but either new or inexperienced. She kept entering our order incorrectly since she couldn't find the item. We wanted one egg roll ($1.49), but she couldn't find it so she tried to charge us the a combo with egg roll. Then she found it on the "out of stock" section but she said she knew they had egg rolls and had help to get it added to our order. Whelp, they ended up not having any egg rolls so they offered us another banh mi or the pre-made spring roll appetizers since we already paid. Since we ordered 2 banh mis already, we went with the pre-made pork belly rolls.
Pork Belly Rolls ($7.99): This came with two rolls that was clearly left out for awhile. The rolls were actually broken and the pork belly fell out so it basically became a veggie roll. The black sauce the rolls came in was super good and what gave everything flavor. We used it as a dip and poured it on the banh mis. We asked for another one and they ended up giving up the wrong sauce.
The Sin City Special ($14.99): This was the best out of everything we ate, but not sure if it's worth the price. The first few bites were really good then it just became okay. I had to add the black sauce to make it taste better.
Wagyu Banh Mi ($19.99): The proportion was off. They put 1 layer of thin slices of waygu stretched out across the banh mi so you can barely taste it. They cooked the wagyu well and it tasted really good by itself. However, it doesn't belong in a banh mi, and we felt ripped off. Without the waygu, the banh mi was plain so we actually took the pork belly from the rolls and put it in there.
Not a good first impression, but I would still consider coming back to try the...

Tried WIP x Banh Mi for the first time and had the Spam & Egg Banh Mi. Visually, it looked great, and I appreciated the creativity in combining classic Vietnamese flavors with a comfort food twist.
However, the experience was a bit mixed. The space is very cramped and not particularly comfortable—not ideal if you’re looking to sit down and enjoy your meal. Definitely more of a grab-and-go kind of place.
As for the sandwich, the texture and portion were solid, and I liked the concept. But there was a dominant, unfamiliar flavor in the sandwich that I couldn’t quite identify and didn’t enjoy. It threw off the balance of the whole thing for me. Without that particular taste, it probably would’ve been a hit.
Staff was polite and service was ok, but overall, it wasn’t memorable enough to make me rush back. I might give it another shot and try something else on the menu, but this visit was just okay.

We approached the register, and the staff member informed us that we needed to place our order at the kiosk, which we eventually did. We then went back to ask a question about the drinks, and she mentioned that if it wasn’t available on the kiosk, they couldn’t serve it.
After placing our drink order on the kiosk, the same staff member later approached us with an attitude, stating that they didn’t have one of the drinks we ordered. To add to our frustration, every other customer who came in after us was greeted warmly, and their orders were taken at the register.
We made specific custom requests for our sandwiches, asking for no cilantro or pickles, yet both toppings were still included. I understand that things can get hectic with only a couple of workers, but the way we were treated was completely unacceptable. I definitely cannot recommend this place, and I will not be returning to such a disrespectful...
