Cassano's The Pizza King — Restaurant in Springboro

I would like to say that I have had my fair share of bad days at work, but the guy who took our order was the most unpleasant and agitated person I have seen at a job. He looked disheveled and like he really didn't want to be there. He had an aggressive stature and was angrily glaring at us. I'm not sure but he may have been the manager, and my first thought was that he might be on drugs.I am not saying he was either of those things, but he definitely gave off the tweaked out vibe. Needless to say it made us uncomfortable. This speaks volumes to how much we love Cassano's pizza because we soldiered on and stayed!!!! It was my daughter's 12th birthday and she wanted to try a new pizza. Dayton salt crust it is! Now for the pizza...Our pizza was hap-hazardly thrown together with most of the toppings (deluxe w/no sausage) just being piled in the middle. That being said, the other young man who brought our pizza to our table was super friendly. He almost made up for the poor treatment we received while ordering. In closing, Cassano's pizza is still really good. I don't blame the brand. We will definitely have Cassano's pizza again, but if that grumpy guy from the Middletown location is working we won't...

Cassano's has been around and a favorite for our family a long time. The quality in general has always been consistently good. The pricing gets kinda steep compared to a lot of other chains however, which is really the only downside I can speak of.

Their sausage isn't like your typical chunks you find at most other pizza places which allows for a better topping distribution. Light cheese with plenty of pepperoni that crisps up nice. The edges of the pizza where the cheese meets gets nice and caramelized.

We got ours light baked so we could finish it at home for dinner. Turned out excellent...

I was over charged for my order (I have contacted corporate about my nearly $30.00 large pizza with two half toppings and extra cheese). Compare the price of theoretically the same single pizza online with the apparent double charge in person! It had to be remade as well. But they didn't offer to let me keep the mess up they had served me. Not a big deal but I wonder if they threw it away. Hmmm They were polite though. And I do know mistakes happen, still a pain to have to go through this.
