It was amazing! I don't remember my server's name but she was incredibly kind! I came here twice on two different Thursdays recently. She remembered my group and offered us the same seating since it was currently available. The first time I got the choconana something or other, it was pancakes with chocolate chips baked into it(?) and bananas on top. I got it with hashbrowns, scrambled eggs, and sausage links. As for a drink, I got a strawberry banana smoothie. The pancakes were good, though not remarkable. The bananas were the same. The chocolate part of the pancakes was great, however- I quite enjoyed the blend of the flavours and textures. The hashbrowns weren't quite to my liking, but they weren't awful. The eggs and sausage links were average. The smoothie, on the other hand, was incredible!
The second time I came, I got a double cheeseburger with no onions, along with seasoned fries and a chocolate milkshake. The cheeseburger was amazing, very filling! The fries were good, as well! The milkshake was not great, in my opinion. Something in the mixture ratio bothered me, though I'm not a milkshake connoisseur, so I sadly cannot pinpoint what exactly it was.
My partner and I ate different things both times, so I got to try a few other things. The tropical smoothie was alright. It is not something I enjoy, but I didn't find it nasty or poor quality. It reminded me of the kiwi & mango juice my school used to serve on occasion. The crinkle fries were decent— average, but not in a bad way. In that you'd expect them to taste that way. The vanilla milkshake was about the same as the chocolate milkshake, only vanilla.
I would rate the atmosphere, however, I am not sure exactly what people look for in those. I could tell I was in a restaurant by a road! The lighting was okay, I don't have much to say about that. If I recall correctly, the colors inside the restaurant were fairly warm.
It wasn't busy at all either time I went. The parking lot was occupied by what was probably less than ten cars. I went around 16:00 the first time, and 16:30 the second time. There was quite a bit of traffic, though it wasn't unnavigatable.
I think that's about it! Overall experience rating would be 8/10. Two deducted for some of the food. First time I went with 4 people including myself, we spent about $66 in total. Second time was with 5 (inc....
Read morePlease read this story, before making your judgment call on eating at this particular Dennys, in short don't, respect yourselves and your money and get better service elsewhere, below is a summary of the "wonderful service" we received at this Dennys. We tried the "To Go" service for the first time here at this establishment. It was a Saturday, and the place was quiet and almost empty except for two seated tables. My understanding was, we call ahead, place a order, pick it up, done. We ordered two meals, and two shakes, Simple enough. When receiving the order I noticed we didn't receive the shakes. Alright, no big deal, right? This is where the majority of the problem stemmed from. It took them 14 minutes. 14 Minutes to make two milkshakes. How? Milk, Ice cream, additives, correct? So why, with no customers, was this a big deal? The two seated tables, had food, so I'm honestly concerned more than confused. However it gets better. Now I'm speculating, though I don't know for sure, but the main "server" at the register, whom had a manager "air" about him, had the most glazed, "I really hate you and the world" expression I have ever seen, if you will. He hardly aknowledged our presence, and instead proceeded to chat it up with two other associates. No big deal though right? Work sucks, must have had a long day, sure. But as the time ticked on by for, need I remind you, two simple milkshakes. My patience wavered. When making eye contact with the staff, they of course immidietly turn away, knowing full well, this was getting ridiculous.
In short, don't eat here, you won't get treated with respect, there is literally only one girl here who deserves any tips or money, as she works the hardest, unfortunately I don't know her name, so I can't give a shout out. But please, respect yourself, respect your money, and go elsewhere, they clearly don't give half a damn if your there, so why honor them with your hard...
