Went to Russell cellular in springdale to buy two iPhones. He never told us there was $80.00 in set up fees For the two phones. he only said it was activation fees and taxes. Activation we would be on the first bill. The rest we are paying out-of-pocket was taxes I should’ve done the math. Then when I said I was going to buy a used Apple Watch he said I had to come into the store to activate it. I even asked if it was Something I could do at home. He said no. When I was in the store activating the watch, the guy said it would be $40.00 I said you just got through saying The activation fee will be put on your first bill. He said no we have to charge a set up fee. I said it sure did look like I could set this up at home. But I didn’t want to mess anything up because I was told I had to come in here. He said no, you Did not have to come in here. I said well I’ll set it up at home then. He said it’s not letting me back out. I’m sorry you’ll have to pay the $40 so I got screwed three times without being told first about the $40 set up fee for each item. That’s bad Business. iPhone never set up Siri I did it all I set up FaceTime all he did was get it transferring which I could’ve done that. The watch didn’t show me how to use. He didn’t show me how to use it, but I paid $40.00. So what did I pay the 40 bucks for so I can go home and learn how to use the thing. With the phone didn’t show us how to do anything on the new phone except for how to get rid of some apps because it totally different than what we were using, the rest of it wasn’t spent an hour trying to figure out how to Get FaceTime put on there. Won’t be going back to your store. I don’t do reviews. But this was wrong. Telling customers they have to come in and do something at your store so you can get the 40 bucks without telling The customer about the charge of 40 bucks is...
Read moreI’ve been to this store before and had a good experience. So we went back when I wanted to add a line to our family plan. Before we went we called to ask what all the fees were. We were told only a $40 activation fee nothing else. So we went in. The whole time the sales associate tried to upsell us on plans and phones we didn’t want. We just wanted to use our current phone we already owned outright. Once we finished up the transaction we were told a $40 activation fee would show up on our bill and we owed $25 fee there in store. Which was never mentioned to us on the phone earlier or before the transaction even started. We were so upset that we were lied to we asked to talk to the manager and instead he just went to talk to her and came back telling us if we would of bought something that fee would of been waived but since we didn’t we had to pay it. When we asked what it was for we were told to make sure we left all set up and ready to go with no issues. So we paid the fee not happy. Then our sales associate swapped out the SIM cards and told us we were good to go. Which we found out later we weren’t. We then spent the next 4 hours trying to figure it out on our own. Once we finally got it figured out we got a text message from Verizon saying welcome. So when I called back the store to complain and ask for my money back on a service that I didn’t successfully receive I was told by multiple managers it’s a nonrefundable fee and they couldn’t do anything for me. They didn’t want to hear my complaints and just kept telling me everything was my fault. I was so frustrated I will never go back to this store. Don’t waste your energy and money...
Read moreThis place is terrible. Do not shop here. The store manager is named Krystal Alvarado and she is very rude and disrespectful. Here are the facts from my brief encounter:
She grabbed my phone out of my hand and started to control it - closing my apps, going into my settings, and typing on my device - all without even asking me. She literally ripped it out of my hands.
When I explained what I needed help with, she she didn’t understand and tried to get me to pay for an account with zero process to figure out if that was the right prepaid account and if I needed to pay or not - just tried to take a payment until I asked for clarification at which point she advised me to call customer support.
She then told me that the number I was given by Verizon for my prepaid account “is not a Verizon number” and that I must have “gotten it from a different provider”
When I started to get upset at how she was blowing past me over and over and the way she was talking to me, I pulled up the emails from Verizon to prove what I had ordered and that she was wrong and just being rude and not getting what I needed, she then told me I was being rude and to leave her store and that she wouldn’t help me.
Unreal. This woman has zero skills to be running a store where she interacts with customers.
The owners of this store need to know how she is treating the customers. DO NOT SHOP AT THIS STORE. You have...
