Flapjack's — Restaurant in Springdale

I'd give 3.5 stars for effort. My waitress was wonderful. She was friendly and very accommodating. I would rate breakfast here a little bit better than golden corral. Buffet breakfast in this area is rare so I give an A for effort however the breakfast was hit and miss for food temperature. The bacon was mostly good and crisp but some pieces were warm at best . The breakfast casserole was interesting to try and pretty tasty. The toast was not so good as it had been sitting under the lights and not crisp and fresh. They had pancakes but they weren't too appealing so I didn't try. The hash brown potatoes were very good as was the coffee. I found the price a bit steep for a breakfast buffet and would have been happier if it included the coffee. $ 9.49 was the price I paid and with coffee and tip I paid 15 dollars and change. If I could rate stars as minus that would be my rating. The worst breakfast buffet my husband and I have ever been to. It was filthy. The breakfast food was cold, with the exception of the gravy. Eggs were watery, bacon either raw or over cooked. Pancakes gluey. French toast soggy. Had to ask twice for butter and syrup. Smelled like stale cigarettes. Older waitress coughed constantly not covering her mouth then announced she was going outside for a smoke... She went out the front door and all those in restaurant could see her. Worked in restaurant business over 15 years... Can't imagine what the kitchen looks like, but the health department should make a surprise visit... And OSHA too. I had a piece of chicken that was part moist and was my best bite but where do you find chicken that small. Place needs a total update and thorough cleaning. Not a healthy place and not worth...

I love this breakfast place. The food is fresh and hot, good deserts. The waitresses are very friendly, seat you down and get you a drink within literally a minute.

The selection is what I would call a *home kitchen *... As in pancakes, rolled strawberry pancakes, eggs, hash, all sorts of egg omelets and of course fresh veggies to make your own salad. The dessert is sitting aside and don't sneer the cookies, they are very much like what you make at home.

I stay at the hotel often enough and have yet to miss breakfast. Certainly, some folks wear construction high visibility jackets... I guess, they really want to be safe walking to and from the buffet table and be noticed once seated, so that no bus drives over them and their...
