Mr. Taco Loco — Restaurant in Springdale

Okay. So I give everything at least one try. Today I decided to go to a different spot for lunch. I ordered the chicken quesadilla and a taco with added lettuce and cheese. As this was my first time visiting, when I got there parking was limited. After fighting that battle I get inside, the wait was not horrible. The customer service was mediocre at best. I was given my order. The bag was tied up so I assumed everything was in the bag. I get to my car and open the bag. The food looks half prepared. My quesadilla was barely cooked. The chicken had no kind of flavor. I was not told whether or not the sauce for the food was extra, nor was I offered any. I literally could not eat my meal! I had no expectations on the taste of the food and coming from San Pedro CA where Mexican food is prominent, this was the worst food I have had in a while. I will not be going back because to pay $11 and some change and to not be satisfied at all is something I am not willing to try again in hopes that a different cook is there and the customer is better. I hear all the time small businesses are not supported however when we do support we get hand down awful service and food like what I received today. I was on my lunch break so I had no time to go and exchange or get my money back. ATP, I don’t want a refund. I just will never go back and support again. No harsh feelings. I just hope from the review the owner regroup and do better...

Happened to be downtown Springdale and the tacos called my name. Considered looking up reviews but decided it was time to take one for the team. I was glad I did.

We came in on quesadillas day - huge quesadilla with choice of meat with rice and beans for 5.99. I got the tinga chicken - it was really good. Not over the top chipotle which I am always worried about. It was great and I cleaned the plate.

They have a cozy atmosphere with fun decorations. Seem to have a full bar and great drink specials. When I was there a small beer was .99 and it wasn’t a shot of beer it was a decent size for a buck.

Add to the great price and atmosphere they had a serve yourself salsa bar with several options including hot grilled onions. I loved the red sauce but beware it is spicy if you don’t like that. It warns you though.

I don’t go to Springdale much but will come back next...

I always give a restraunt two chances. I wanted to like this place because their low pricing and large portions. Unfortunately I cannot recommend them. My order both times were delivered incorrectly. The Cali burrito which is advertised to come with steak, came with ground beef. The tacos I have ordered now twice, have both times come with no garnishments. Just meat and a tortilla? The salsa is nothing short of a joke. Tasting of canned tomatoes with onions and cilantro. Not even enough of the latter to make the tomato sauce taste balanced. Zero spicing and zero flavor, as is the case with about every item ordered on both occasions. There is too much competition in the area when it comes to Mexican cuisine for this place to be even remotely acceptable. Waste of time and money. There are multiple other restraunts on the same street that you'll have a much better...
