Delicious and delightful. I had an iced churro latte, and mi esposa had a hibiscus vanilla iced tea, both of which were surprisingly good; in fact, she specifically commented that âit has the perfect balance of floral and vanillaâ and that âmost places canât pull that off nearly so well.â Likewise, being a coffee snob and at-home barista, I can attest that the coffee is high quality; theyâre using freshly ground beans (sold in store, btw) and professional machinery, so itâs legit. Another reviewer said itâs mostly milk, but this is misleading; yes, lattes are by design âmostly milkâ but an observant and well-honed palette will tell you that there is a base layer of quality espresso. This is a good iced latte, full stop.
Anyway, we also had a flan and a Bubu Lubu cheesecake (IYKYK), both of which were wonderful. I could eat this cheesecake every day. Itâs made in house and will blow your mind. And thatâs just the tip of the iceberg on desserts and drinks.
Finally, very friendly staff. Just a total joy. We will be back for sure. Oh, and the seating options and decor are extra cute. See other peopleâs pictures to get the vibe. Weâre so happy to have discovered Cafe con Chisme and to have such a unique and delightful place here in...
Read moreI'm happy to see new businesses on Emma Avenue and I wish Cafe con Chisme great success in the future. I wasn't very impressed with my first visit, due to the food, so will probably only go for the coffee in the future.
The server was very friendly and helpful. The Dulce de Leche coffee was delicious and very sweet (which I like!).
I ordered the chorizo and egg torta ($8), hoping for a good breakfast sandwich, which is where my disappointment arrived. The bread was incredibly stale and tough around the edges, so I could only eat the middle. It tasted well past its prime and was too much bread for its small contents. The chorizo and egg wasn't quite what I was expecting either. It was a very thin spread of ground chorizo paste, with no visible egg, and an over abundance of onion. I love me some onions, but that's really all I could taste in the sandwich--- and all I continued tasting until I brushed my teeth :). Definitely was not worth paying $8, or even $2 or $3, considering how little was between the slices of stale bread.
The atmosphere inside is very cute and friendly. I love the lights, the decor, and neat seating arrangements. As a new businesses, I'm sure they'll only...

The City of Springdale, Arkansas hosts the bicycling race known as the Natural State Criterium Series in the spring every year.
A part of the race experience consists of walking around the downtown area observing the spectators, participants, organizers, staff and the press.
Another aspect of the race experience is exploring the businesses and institutions along the corridor. There are now fashion and art galleries, among others.
In recent years, the public infrastructure has been updated. In recent months, new businesses have opened their doors. Cafe con Chisme is one of them.
I tried Cafe con Chisme. The barista expertly crafted an exquisite whole-food plant-based oat milk latte.
The service and the beverage were both of the best quality, thus, enhancing the...
