Heng's Thai Cuisine — Restaurant in Springfield Township

This restaurant is very rude and unprofessional. I ordered food for my husband and I and after I hung up the phone I told my husband the total and he said it was a little too high so about 5 minutes later I called back to cancel the food he wanted. I did not except it to be a problem, but the gentleman on the phone flipped out on me. He was explaining that the food was already made and i would have to pay still have to pay for it, but I did not want to pay an extra 30 dollars for food that wasn’t going to be eaten. I explained that but he kept telling me I had to pay for it. I told him I just didn’t want any of it anymore and hung up the phone. I had to still head over to the store because my friend order food too and we both went over to pick it up. As I entered the parking lot my friend enter the restaurant and about 10 minutes later came back out, as we sat in the car one of the employees came out of the restaurant and started taking pictures of my car. I was very shocked and scared, and soon my friend was explaining to me they were asking her very inappropriate questions and accusing her of ordering more then one order. She had to keep explaining that she was here to pick up one order but they kept insisting she had another one. I would not recommend this place to anyone, again they are very rude, and unprofessional and I just didn’t appreciate the experience...

I have celiac disease and hardly eat out because of cross- contamination and the fact that most people don’t understand the disease. I mentioned my concerns to the waitress. The manager came out and asked all the right questions. He reassured me that he has other customers who can’t eat gluten as well. He was very informed on what may be inside their sauces, including shrimp paste in case I had a sea food allergy. He assured me they would wash the pan before they made my food and they would be no cross-contamination. I had no negative effects at all. I really felt like they care about their customers. On top of that, the food was DELICIOUS! My girlfriend and I really enjoyed our food. The prices were reasonable, and the portions were large. We loved the presentation of the food too. The bathroom was very clean which tells me that the kitchen is as well. We can’t wait to go back! My only tiny critique was that I didn’t see a need for the television to be on and maybe the lights could be a bit more dim. It was very comfortable however. They had plenty of cushions if you needed them to prop yourself up to the table. A fantastic experience!...

No stars for the food. I do not know what happened to this place- it used to have very good thai food. The last few times we were there, the Pad Thai had a runny brown gravy, the noodles were saturated and swimming in the stuff. No Tamarind sauce, no egg, no green onion, no bean sprouts, no peanuts, no lime. Pad Thai is supposed to have tamarind sauce and all of those ingredients not brown gravy-soup, noodles and mixed veggies. We tried the "Nuts to you" recently as we had given up on the Pad Thai. The dish sounded like a cashew chicken in sweet light brown sauce. Well there were only a few cashews, a huge plate of flovorless bits of checken swimming in THE FLAVORLESS BROWN SAUCE again- it was not sweet, it was not salty, it had no flavor- it was simply BROWN. Never again. Oh and there prices are VERY HIGH for horrible food. Plus the Sushi chef is constantly sweating- even though he is just sitting there with no customers- wiping his shaved head to mop up the...
