Cassano's The Pizza King — Restaurant in Springfield

I picked up my order from the drive thru and immediately noticed the extra cheese was missing. I did not want to wait for the order to be corrected so the manager offered to give me a $5 credit on my next order. I was fine with that because I frequently order Cassano's. My food was still delicious. Next time I ordered, I told the call center I should have a $5 credit on my account, and I did.

Cassano's is a little pricey compared to other pizza restaurants, but you absolutely get your money's worth. In addition, they always make it right in the extremely rare times there is an issue. Their policy is a $5 credit on the next order, or return at least 75% of the current order for a remake.

Cassano's has been for years, and always will be my favorite place to eat. NOTE: I usually order light salt...

Normally I like casanos pizza, but this location was absolutely disgusting. I ordered a 7in Italian sub and a small pepperoni pizza yesterday and it was one of the worst things I've ate in a very long time. I ended up eating only 1/2 of the sub as the bread was pretty hard and only one bite of the worst pizza I've ever had. The pizza was so over cooked(it actually looked like it was cooked, sat there forever and then got heated up a 2nd time to be served) it was rubbery, cold and the cheese was hard + you couldn't even tell there was any sauce on the pizza. They were super dead as well inside, so there was absolutely zero excuse for such a poor pizza. I had picked up my order within 10-15 minutes of ordering it. Starting off on a good note.. people who work there are ALWAYS nice. But I wasted 60$ on what used to be my favorite pizza place. I never write reviews.. but 2 of the pizzas were terrible. My daughter's wasn't even cut all the way through. I had to cut it myself and it was VERY hard to cut through. Both of our pizzas were hard to chew, like a mix of rubber and cardboard. My husband didn't have much complaints about his, I'll give them that. The last time we got pizza from Cassano's it was the same way. Very disappointed, with it being my favorite place for pizza. I hope you guys are cleaning the ovens properly, maybe that's the issue. I don't know, but I guess we won't be coming to this...
